I'm using 5 gallon Root Trapper II fabric pots for my autoflower organic grow I'm about to start.
They are 10" wide x 15" tall.

I was recently informed that cannabis prefers a short wide pot?
Is there cause for concern?
I think I'll be fine but I was curious about this.

I routinely utilize 5 gallon smart pots that are 12 x 9.5. You are fine and you've no need to fill it all the way to the top if that makes you uncomfortable. I've also used 7 and 10 gallon smarts pots, so I don't anticipate that you will be having any problems. Enjoy!

pot doesn't care if it's tall and skinny or short and fat, but growers with a space or height issue do. Fill that smart pot half way and presto, you are now short and fat! My 10 gallon airpots are about 13 inches high, I fill them about 3/4 way full and when I harvest the bottom 4 inches are still completely unused.
