Greetings,

I am a retired combat vet just delving into the world of cannabis cultivation simply because I can't afford to keep paying dispensary prices. That said I have cultivated 5 plants but only 1 was an autoflower.

When I harvested that banana kush auto at 3.9 oz I removed the root structure to find it had not grown very well at all.

After having been reasonably successful with my first grow I was optimistic at trying to kick 10 off at once, and I watched in horror as seedling after seedling grew about an inch then never quite move again,. All of my autoflowers seem to just stall after 2nd leaf. Is their something to get a auto to grow up. My photo periods in the same soil are on 4th and 5th nodes for the same germination dates.

Thank you for your time.

It could be your soil, or they could be overwatered, or something with the seeds themselves

What kind of soil?

Spaghnum petemoss, perlite, cotton burr compost, dry ammendment. Mycos for roots.
Could be the seeds or how much you watering...

Lots of cotton products are full of herbicides. We had to stop amending our mushroom substrates with cotton seed meal for this reason.

I chose cotton burr to bring the soil ph below 7, was worried it would cause nutrient lock out, as my first mix sat at 8.5 to 9. Hoping its not the issue, still wondering why my photos don't seem to stall.

You should take a pic of it.
