Indoor The Life and Times of the Fantasmo Sisters - Soil

My current grow is my first attempt at super cropping ... I snapped a few ... I always tied down the main stem similar to what you did ... this grow I super cropped the main stem 2-3 times and it allowed the lower growth to catch up very much like your 2 plants ... this is my first grow in years that I didn't rope down the main stem ... I also super cropped anything sticking up about 1.5" more than the rest ... I think this caused my plants to get a little too bushy causing weak branches ... but I really like the way the plants reacted to having their main stem super cropped ...

Yes, I like the simplicity of the whole Super Cropping idea. I'll definitely keep working at it. In the mean time, I went back to working with my old "twist ties." You can see the red ones I just added. Good luck with your Fantasmo. It must be getting close now.

Why did you go to 12/12 on autos?

Good catch WGB ... why did you change to 12/12 LST4Me ? If you can they'll do much better at 18/6 or higher ... I've used times from 18/6 to 24/0 on my current grow depending on local temps and conditions ... in fact I change hours and on/off times every couple days to help fool the power company cops ... :shooty:

Chester and Wannagrow....the two Fantasmo Sisters are part of a larger grow of Photo Period plants. 8 plants total, 5 different strains. I'm an old school photo period grower, just trying out a couple of Autos for the first time. Only one flower room and it's 12/12. All the breeder info I saw, said to grow at 18/6 or 12/12. The sisters seem to be going with 12/12 just fine. Stay tuned. We'll see what happens. Thank you.

They'll do OK but the yield will be less ... or maybe not ... It will be interesting to see what happens ... :pass:

Wanna,
Please see Chester's post for the answer to your question. I'm new, and not sure how to respond to multiple messages with one response. I'll get there, probably need to smoke some more first. I appreciate you checking out my journal and throwing me a question.

Good growing.

I suspect the yield will be there...it may just take a bit longer...but then again, maybe not?
I guess that's why we're doin' these journals right?

Stay Tuned...
the fun is just beginning.

Day 42 Update
The Sisters appear to be doing fine. Their height hasn't changed much due to the LST I performed. The taller plant stands at 11.5" tall now and the smaller one comes in at 10". There is a definite difference in the genetics between the two. The smaller plant has always been darker green, shorter in stature, and has closer nodes. Looks more Indica-like than her sister. Quite honestly, I love seeing that diversity. Clones would bore me. Anyway here are a couple photos showing their current state. FYI...the flowers on the smaller one have an incredibly sweet smell right now, and already are getting glazed.

This is the cola from the smaller plant.
