Hey redman, glad your girls are doing alright. I think that's a great idea to see if being outside makes a difference.
I'm going to wait a few days to do a full update, as they are still just getting going, but I will share this:
The second set of true leaves are establishing themselves, but a couple of 'em are looking...well, wonky. Take a look:
I just misted them, but you can see what I'm talking about.
These are the more 'indica' looking phenotypes, shorter overall height, wider leaves. The others have more 'sativa' characteristics, i.e. thinner leaves, a little taller.
I don't think it's anything to worry about. It's hella hot, around 80-90F, and anywhere from very humid to disgusting. But there's been a lot of sun, and they are getting most of the afternoon sun, albeit slightly diffused by my anti-pest nets. I still spray a garlic/black pepper infusion all around at night to turn away rats or mice. They ate a whole batch of Lowryder Mix Pack I tried starting a couple years ago...
