Hi bud looking good im doin same kinda thing but with 1 plant !! first go at it you see. Im guna follow your journal with my grow. Safe growing! . . . .

Thanks, dude! So far so good. I decided to remove the light diffusing screens so they get the full afternoon sun with only the white netting to block light/obscure vision. If I feel like I can see pot leaves from outside i'll do something else, but I think it will be fine. With the white styrofoam behind you can't actually see the white netting, which I thought might attract unwanted attention.

If this grow is successful I should be able to do one or even two more this year, staggering then a month apart so I get a harvest every month. I will also build an indoor setup with LED once I can swing the money. It looks like autoflower + LED is the answer to my prayers. I never would have started growing again if it weren't for these two technologies, plus all the support you get online!!!

Wat'um Kalyx. How u and the gals doing. Mine are just about to take off I think. They have been quiet for a couple of days but I left them in sun all day yesterday an wen I got back from work it was like they had been swaped for much bigger plants. Very happy indeed. Was bringing dem all in at nite under sum cfls but am gonna leave one out all the time now to see how she gets on.Will bring her back in if she doesn't like it. Anyway, let us kno how tings are goin'. Bless, redz...

Hey redman, glad your girls are doing alright. I think that's a great idea to see if being outside makes a difference.

I'm going to wait a few days to do a full update, as they are still just getting going, but I will share this:

The second set of true leaves are establishing themselves, but a couple of 'em are looking...well, wonky. Take a look:

I just misted them, but you can see what I'm talking about.

These are the more 'indica' looking phenotypes, shorter overall height, wider leaves. The others have more 'sativa' characteristics, i.e. thinner leaves, a little taller.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. It's hella hot, around 80-90F, and anywhere from very humid to disgusting. But there's been a lot of sun, and they are getting most of the afternoon sun, albeit slightly diffused by my anti-pest nets. I still spray a garlic/black pepper infusion all around at night to turn away rats or mice. They ate a whole batch of Lowryder Mix Pack I tried starting a couple years ago...

I got a couple of FB plants goin and they're smelling kinda skunky. Think they're gonna be some nice smoke.

Hey Subcriminal,

Sounds like we have another member of the Fast Bud club! How far along are your girls?

Hey there guys. Hope all is well. Kaylx,I wouldn't worry jus yet in the leaves. Still early days.If they continue to grow like that then yeah, sumting is amiss. Personally, I'd prolly put it down to either the misting wid the pepper or the soil being too hot.(wid nutes that is!) Jus keep an eye on them.
Easy sub. Nice to see u here. Any pics? Wat age did theysex? And how big are they?Any probs along the way so far? Pot size? Sorry, I'm jus a nosey git! 1st auto grow so tips/advice all welcome. Take it ez guys, later, redz. Will Def update later. Crashed out last nite.Had a fight wid a bag of kush last nite. And lost! Knocked me clean out. Nice!?!

Haven't taken any pics yet. I think it was 3 weeks before they showed sex. They're at 18'' high with no problems so far. I use 3 gal containers with a local soil mix and FF nutes. I tried hitting the largest with some Roadrunner pollen yesterday but not sure if thats going to take or not. Will get pics soon.

Man, after several days of sunshine, it's been cloudy and rainy. I also realize that it is probably too hot and humid for optimal growth, but in any case I still want to see what will happen. Part of me is starting to feel paranoid, so I am looking into moving them indoors. But since they grow so fast, the first three weeks or so is crucial, so I'm probably limited by the climate. I may also move them outdoors to a secluded mountain location, but that depends on whether or not I have permission to do so by the landowner. For now, it's best that I am the only one that knows, and I plan to keep it that way if possible.

Updates with pictures tomorrow! There are some real differences now in size and growth. Certain phenos are obviously more robust and/or better suited to the extreme climate.
