Any of you guys running DWC/aquafarm kinda stuff at the moment? I'm aware that I can use my canna Coco in this system but was thinking of cheating and grabbing a very expensive bottle of pH perfect so I'm not fucking about continually pH'ing and trying to balance my reservoir. The canna holds pH really well in Coco but I've had my fair share of hydro nightmares and would like this to tick along smoothly .I've no idea what I'm gonna run in it but I'm swaying toward the auto blues at the moment although I've not had my deliveries yet which may shake things up a little. Also Tony might appear and throw me a fricking bone to which I'd be obliged to throw to the front of the queue. Is that how you spell queue? The more I look the weirder it seems .[emoji3577]

I've ran hydro with canna you can use silica to stabilze your pH still moves up and down a bit but you want that doing hydro can't beat a bit of pH fluctuation [emoji16]

Supposedly these rocks are inert but the plant can use them for silica and could get by without extra nutrients so they claim. I like the idea of this as it won't shoot the pH up like all other silica additives do. I must research this more to find out if using nutrients with them would cause issues. I'd like to try them tho. Hate them pebbles.

Take a drill to the base of the pot, make the holes bigger and make more of them. Stick an air stone in the res. I put a tee piece in mine, to make draining it easier and for taking a sample to check pH. They were still a pain in the arse to drain and check pH. The dripper rings foul up, as does the venturi assembly which is an arse ache to try and remove when you have plant in there.

Nice one man. I'm a Jedi with photos I've got a simple easy system. This does NOT work with autos . It's time to start from scratch again but that's fine I like to learn new things . Bring on the 400g harvests from one plant!! Hahaha that's gonna take a while if ever. I'm gonna do my next one in an aquafarm from GH. Managed to snap one up on eBay for £25 with postage. They sell at about £70-£80 for the big one so I'm chuffed with that. Got to love a wee ebay auction.

Mate, the bit I find tricky with autos is the puberty stage. If you can get that bit right it’s plain sailing.

There's a special 1lb badge for when you do it - yes, others have grown pound autos before. In my wilma I use sanguine's schedule for GH's three part nute range and only pH it when it goes in the res.
