I'l get things started by telling a little about myself :

Iv been into gaming for about 20 (ish) years starting with the sega mega drive and now I own a PS4 and Nintendo switch , I love a good story in a game which is as important as gameplay to me although I do have games I play just for the gameplay also , my favourite types of game are open world such as GTA , fallout , assassin's creed , etc. I don't play online often but hope to do so in the future

Favourite game(s) of all time:

• Red dead redemption
• Metal gear solid 2
• Goldeneye(N64)
• GTA series
• Zelda BOTW(switch)
• The Witcher 3
• Uncharted
• Silent hill 2

Games I'm looking forward to :

• Red dead redemption 2 (just a few days left !!)
• Death stranding
• Cyberpunk 2077

It's all your fault, you got me thinking that "It's been a while" so while trying to figure out how to get the original Unreal Tournament to run under Linux I find there's a new, updated, and, more importantly, FREE version available from Epic.

Needless to say, time has been lost. And Elite Dangerous is being fired up again.

You've made me start Windows 10, do you realise how dangerous that can be?

gaming and smoking go hand in hand for me too bro, very immersive stuff!

first console was Sega Mega Drive

have a pretty large collection of video games...actually I sold a whole bunch to find this here new hobby...tough decision but I think the right one for me.

mostly played online shooters for the past decade as I have a bit of a knack for them, started with the Halo series, Destiny etc, but I don’t play so much these days.
big Nintendo fan too, their games are just stuffed full of good vibes...Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc, magical mate.

missus has a decent gaming PC but I don’t utilise it at all...

Red Dead 2 looking great, might binge it at the weekend

Nice thread dude......I'm Xbox one s and I've been gaming for about 20 years.....dude that sounded like Gamers Addiction intro lol......I am playing Destiny 2 Forsaken and Forza Horizon 4 at the moment.......and on the very edge of my seat for Red Dead 2....who isn't lol..

IV never been able to afford a decent enough gaming pc to play games on and I'm kinda glad , I could see myself wasting wayyyyy to much time

Although I am feeling the itch I have been away from my ps4 for a little while now due to work and other things , can't get back to it until Saturday either when RDR2 will have been out for a whole day already , I'm gonna have to do some catching up !

Nice bro I wish I had kept my collection also but I tend to buy a new game then either complete or get bored of it and then trade it towards another game so they never accumulate , I also don't play as often as I used to ,nowadays I just focus on the games I really want to play and put my time into them .

Never been a one for online shooters mainly because I'm terrible at them and I can't take the abuse from all of the 9 year olds haha although I do enjoy the campaigns in the like of COD .

A decent gaming PC? Ain't had one of these, just turn the graphics down on this old clunker series 2 i5 laptop. Then there's the ability to get the emulator and assorted files to run various SummVM games on Android, then there's the emulators on this thing, the original Playstation recently bought, PS3, Wii, and my video game history predates the Atari VCS and Phillips G7000 (wot I had), all the way back to a Pong style thing with not only up and down movement but also left to right, and was in colour instead of black&white. Then moved up to a C64, then Amiga, then PC and kinda stayed on PC.

Was never really a big gamer in my youth.i did get a bit adicted to lord of ultima for a year or so mmorp or something like that they mnown as.gta san andreas on ps2 5weeks sick 3 weeks holidays,and another month till i 100% no cheats.i know the map better than my own town.gta4 was pure piss gta5 was finished in 3 weeks,not 10% the game san andreas was.colin mcrae/gt3,4,5 steering wheel pedals thing on ps3.Aint looked at it in years.
Now with the talk of gaming im pondering a ps4,a pc may make more sense.

I remember the c64 was that the one that played the cassette tapes ? My older brother had one of them and an Atari .

Your right mate there are some great emulators out there I got a ds emulator to play the Pokémon RPGs another classic from when I was younger , im also looking forward to the N64 mini that will come out soon hopefully
