The Elvis must do a surgery!!

This Mutant sweets plant has a very odd stem that is two fan leaves stuck together including fingers and also is 100% part of the main stem. that is also hollow and has the main top inside it and is swelling inside.

the purple stem has the bloom inside see the green bulge?
with a sterile knife i cut up and opened the stem to allow the little bulb or top to come out. let see how fast it shoots out now ..

this plant will now have 5 tops!!

surgery update!!

this plant has my attention ive now split the main stem to allow for the new main growth to push its self out. im hoping once it gets out it will shoot straight up past the 4 other main stems. I also think the leaves inside have been stressed so i expect them to be purple. this will be a big plant..





any ideas on what sweet this one is?
