Indoor The Convoy: Short Stuff Boutique Test Grow Rd. 3 +1 - Tha Shiznit/Purple Amnesia/ ASD

Hey Trap, with your grow tent in a box like you have it does it help keep things warm when the lights go off? Buds are looking frosty brother.

The cab is actually not sealed, there is a huge opening bottom right, below the work bench surface.

Lights don't go out right now, temps plummet if I do that, even in the middle of the day (into the high 50's low 60's) I'm running 24/0

Thanks man...the Shiz is really beginning to pack it on. :)

I was checking out your pics again. Is that a little heater at the bottom of the tent?

There isn't a heater so I can say no for sure, but are you talking about the fan clipped to the beam
and positioned in front of the tent vent on the bottom right? Or are you asking about something else :)

I just bought a 60W CFL (6500K) and a little clip fixture for the tent to bring the temps. up in the colder garage though :)
Another one for the starter tent too...

That's what I seen. I thought it was a little heater. I need something for a little warmth when my lights go out or keep them on twenty four hours. I really like my plants to have some rest time tho. Maybe a green bulb would be good?

I've read that (at least with LEDS) that you can trick a plant into thinking it's getting rest by leaving only greens/blues on...that it's the yellow, orange, red spectrum that dictates whether the plant thinks it's night or day. (As that's the spectrum of the sun) I don't know if it's true or not but it seems to make sense. :)

EDIT: Oh, and that article was talking about photos not autos....

I've read and have been told for the longest that green light wont disturb them. You can buy a green flash light to use in the grow room when lights are out too. I might get a low watt green spot for some heat, something to keep my area in the low 70's.

Trapper,
Something that I found to really help keep a small cabinet warm in a cold space,
Get any 1 gallon jar, fill with H2O, place a small submersible aquarium heater in jar(be sure it is and remains completely covered by H2O.)
Works great and are a very safe source of heat an a cabinet or tent.

Cool, Thanks GB :)

If I don't get the 5º I'm looking for out of these CFLs, I'll try it out!
