Starting to be a little more exacting in the feed volumes now...looks like 1000mL is a good number right now for
run-off. I'm getting about 2-2.5 days between feeds right now in these 2gal (1.6 actual, I read) airpots in the 50/50 HF/CocoLoco.
I gave the PA about twice the CaMg+ as the Shiz. Trying to see if the PA is just hungrier for it. We'll see if it turns the
leaf color around (fading between veins) The Shiz is a perfect model of color health, nice, lush green.
They both got a small shot of Big Bloom and and a very small amount of Grow Big (like 4 drops) pH'd to 6.3-6.4
The Shiz - Day18:
The PA - Day19:
And MysteryX looks to have a good launch Growing nicely now.
I've been turning the bloom spectrum on the Reflector Series when it gets colder to add a little heat
but mostly running the Reflector on veg only along with the 2 full spectrum UFO's
OK
That interveinal chlorosis you are seeing in the PA may be because of the 24/0 lighting and not a def.
If you up'ed your CalMag and did not notice any change, I would suspect that is why.
Some plants will show that under 24/0 especially if there is not much of a temp drop in the 24 hour period.
It should not be cause for alarm, unless you start seeing damage (yellowing, or browning)
I'm really glad to see her (hopefully her) pic up the pace on the launch...once you get noticeable growth,
it makes you feel like it's out of initial "early development" danger.
Update (because I don't want to start working yet)
Along the lines of the discussion with GB RE: the interveinal chlorosis of the Purple Amnesia I have set forth on a diagnosis game plan.
I'm going to give the PA a different kind of CalMg (Equilibrium 1-1-2) with more N in addition to just a touch more Grow Big and see if the
extra N puts some more color in her cheeks...Not a huge deal as the growth doesn't seem to be hampered in any way. Apparently some
plants just do this under 24/0 light. I'm attributing the worst of the yellowing at the bottom to the fact that those leaves had pretty
substantial contact with the soil. If the extra N doesn't work, I'll assume 24/0 is the issue and move forward as-is and just wait to change
the light interval until bloom, at which point I'll make my usual switch to 21/3.
