The CBD Thread

Further to previous, there's a report in the UK press about how a woman waiting for chemo has seen her breast cancer tumour shrink to an eighth of it's size thanks to, as she claims, use of CBD oil. The effect is so marked that the UK NHS is now looking more closely at CBD with the outlook being that it is a potential treatment for various ailments including cancer.

Thankfully, at last, the medical world is looking seriously at the likes of CBD as there is a hell of a lot of studies and anecdotal evidence of the positive effects, including on Type 2 diabetes (Israel, I believe, is at the forefront of that research), which show that CBD is much more beneficial than governments like to admit because, well, it comes from "big scary DRUGS" even though the main source of CBD is harmless hemp.

So even though I began following you as soon as you joined AFN, I didn't get an alert that you started a thread , there is still lots about the way AFN works that needs learning on my part!! I'm getting better at maneuvering through if to where I want to go, but still can't always find things I'm looking for, like some people I can PM but others I can't, other stuff too, it's just gonna take me more time to learn everything about afn than other forums. I'm very glad you are here and look forward to your threads and comments on my threads!!! Good luck!

I use Sensi Seeds 30mg e-vaping fluid for pain control in a standard e-cigarette and can honestly say it is an absolute godsend, I went from up to 5 different painkillers plus 5mg valium per day, which didn't actually kill and barely controlled the pain, to almost zero pills overnight thanks to the stuff.

Now, sure, there's a psychological aspect to pain, especially chronic pain that you've had for years, but that doesn't explain why the inflammation and cramped up muscles in my back eased off extremely quickly and I was able to do more than before because there wasn't the narcotic effect from some of my meds. Of course, vaping gets the CBD into you faster than using the oil, so that helps, but if you want to try CBD I recommend getting a REPUTABLE brand of fluid and try it out yourself.

I'm sure you already know that CBD is intensely anti-inflammatory; I have felt the same effects.

Well, the "big scarey drugs" make billions of dollars for big pharma and for politicians... Kinda hard to let go once you've sold your soul to the devil...

That was the reason for switching to it, cut the inflammation down and you cut the pain. Plus there are analgesic effects and it also has a relaxing effect which stops muscle cramps.

That's the effects I'm interested in, we know there are other benefits

And think of how much is made worldwide out of Sativex, cost price here is over €600 for a pack of 3x10ml bottles unless you fall into a very narrow band of those who are eligible for a "discount" from their health insurance.

But the "big scary DRUGS" bit refers to anything to do with any medicinal use of marijuana, rather than admit drug policies have been screwed up since day one it's preferable to have people shovelling all sorts of poisons down their throat. The benefits there could be from a well controlled system where those who could get pain, etc, relief from marijuana are multifold, but because that would mean admitting they had gotten things wrong then you know it will take some time to change attitudes.

At least in usa, that would mean admitting to having been wrong. And I don't think that whoever it is who could issue an admission of guilt for having committed egregious errors such as genocide, slavery, fostering opiate addiction/death, outlawing natural medicine and worshipping $--

er, I don't think it's gonna happen.

I just tried a new product "CBD Gummy"
A bit on the steep side, 25$ gets 15 gummies, each with 10mg of CBD Isolate.

I took 1, which is a low dose of CBD for me, and it took nearly an hour but it was quite effective and fairly long lasting.

Problem is they're tasty and tiny, and I had to fight the urge to have another one.
