sielm. Looks  you sure do a good job with a stealth grow and seem to avoid PH problems etc.

Hey there! I harvested the Fast Bud a few days ago. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics of the process... It's still drying, and there are no visible signs of seed development. The CS experiment may finally end as a failure...

I can say though that Fast Bud is by far the most productive out of the 3 "large" plants. The Sweet Skunk #2 and the Sweet Cheese are not going to be such big yielders, and probably the Skunk will be the least productive of all.

Sweet Skunk#2 is really similar to the previous #1, in smell and in plant structure. The Sweet Cheese did grow really vigorously at first and developed a really fat stem, but the final flower amount and size is not that impressive. I like the SC smell though, because it really really resembles cheese, so at least this one lives up to its name ;)

The youngest one, the SAD Auto, is also surprising me. It's on the smallest pot I've used (~750ml) but it's already grown pretty tall and strong. The budsites are on the main stem only, with a plant structure that is clearly not a big yielding one. The smell is really good, reminds me of incense and sandalwood. This one has still a month or so to be ready, so we'll see how well it develops.

Finally, using the pot of the recently harvested Fast Bud (3 liter pot) and 2 small 1-liter pots, I've planted my newest additions to the bucket: 3 Magic Dragons :booya: I wish I get all of them females or at most 1 male, so I can have both quality smoke and the ability to make seeds :D thanks to Mossy for the freebies included and for a really good support after a troubled order

I'll try to upload some pics soon. Have a nice weekend!

Hi all! Today the SSA#2 and the SCA got flushed. They will be harvested soon. The Sweet Skunk#2 appeared to be smaller than the Sweet Cheese, but today I checked them and looks like it's going to be a tie. The Sweet Cheese has longer, more elongated buds, but they are not many. The Sweet Skunk#2 has smaller budsites but there are more of them. Here is a pic of them both; the Sweet Skunk#2 is the left one (81 days), and the Sweet Cheese (76 days old) is the right one:

ssa2&sca.jpg

This pic does not make justice to the SC, because it looks like the right plant is way smaller. The Sweet Cheese to the right is positioned so the main tip is far away from the camera, and it might look smaller, but the SC is indeed taller than the Sweet Skunk. The SS was easier to apply LST to, but the SC would always emerge with her strong stem, making LST less useful, as she did not bend much.

There is a significant difference in the aromas coming from both plants ;) both making honor to their names.

I've still got to take a pic of the small Sweet Afghani Delicious Auto. She's doing fine, I'm really amazed about how well she's doing on such a tiny pot.

On the other hand, I got 3 Magic Dragons to pop out the shell case, but only 2 out of them finally survived. The dead one emerged with a black stem and dark brown leaves, so RIP :toke: It's not such a big deal as there is another MD germinating ATM :D

I also decided to germinate a new Fast Bud and a new Sweet Afghani Delicious, so they will be the next additions to the cube, and they will be planted into the SSA#2 and SCA pots when they are freed.

Expect more updates soon! See you!

Hey all in there! Today the Sweet Skunk#2 and the Sweet Cheese were harvested. Both got a nice flush a few hours before harvesting. Both plants finally yielded noticeably worse than the previous 2 Fast Buds, so I'm leaning to believe the FB might be a better choice overall. Both Fast Buds yielded around 15 grams dry each (which is a really good amount for my needs) but I'm afraid the SS and the SC will yield more around 10 grams dry each maximum . It's not that bad though, as I still have a small SAD that will probably help a little in the waits for the next assault ;)

The smell on the SS is the same as the little Sweet Skunk#1 harvested a couple of weeks ago, and the buds resemble her older sister's too. I think I got like a 10% more buds out of this than the Sweet Cheese. She was 82 days old before the cut!

The Sweet Cheese has a pretty different smell; it really smells like there is cheese in there, it's a bit like foot odour but not in an unpleasant way :D. I think I got a slightly smaller yield out of this compared to the SS. But I prefer the looks of this weed: the resin is really thick and more white than the SS's. The buds are really packed. She was 77 days old when harvested.

Both plants had some amber trich heads, but the majority were cloudy. Here are a couple of pics of the harvested buds, as you can see both plants yielded considerably less than the FB. In fact with both FB I filled the same boxes considerably more.

On the other hand, the little SAD Auto is doing fine in her micro pot. I fed her with PK13-14 and guano today. I need to take a pic of her, I always forget! :toke:

Two little Magic Dragons were born too! One is on a 3 liter pot, and the other is on a 1 liter pot. Now I have freed two 3 liter pots and one 1 liter pot, so new seeds are on the works. I have a Fast Bud (my 3rd), another Magic Dragon (my 3rd too :)) and a new SAD Auto (my 2nd) already soaking in water with drops of hydrogen peroxide. The seeds have just cracked, and I'll wait until the radicles grow a few millimeters before planting them. I'll probably use the 3 liter pots with the Fast Bud and the SAD, and the Magic Dragon in the 1 liter pot. I really want to try the MD smoke, but they are regular seeds and I might get some males. If that's the case I'll try to transplant the males (if any) to the 1 liter and keep the female in the 3 liter. This is a bit confusing, and being stoned doesn't help either lol but I want to keep a diary here :D

That's all for now! Thanks for reading!

Hey there! I'm happy 2 say that all 3 seeds have germinated properly, and today they've been planted. They are a Fast Bud and a SADAuto in 3-liter pots and a Magic Dragon in a 1-liter pot. Today I also bring a couple of pics. First some shots from the Sweet Afghani Delicious Auto, she's 58 days old and is already taller than the container it's on (a 750ml pot). I find the pot is ideal in size, because this way I can squeeze it into a corner when all the large pots are inside the bucket. But it's made from a tetra-pak and is not reusable. Next time I'll try to get a plastic bottle, because that would be reusable:

And here are 2 Magic Dragons with 3 days of life. The one to the left is on a 3-liter pot, and the one to the right is on a 1-liter. This way I have a total of 3 Magic Dragons going on (one has yet to sprout). I want at least one female, and that would be on the 3-liter. If I get any males I'll try to put them on 1-liters. I'd love to get some nice crossed seeds, and keeping the males on smaller pots would benefit yield ;)

THanks for passing by! Best regards!

Hey there! I've got a question, if anyone has a clue on this I'd love to hear it!

What do you think about topping the SAD above? (first 2 pics). I double checked her age and she's reaching 70 days (more than I thought lol). The hairs on her head are already receding, and I thought about waiting till the head is ripe, then cut the head and let the rest of the plant mature (and maybe slightly grow/get fat?) for longer.

I've searched the forums and I see different opinions on the subject...

Your SAD sure is frosty in photo #2. Don't you think 70 days is a bit on the late side for topping. And remember those lower buds generally don't get much bigger at that age. Someone may have a different opinion. Also, the SAD is a heavy indica and you seem to prefer the more energetic high; the lower buds might give you that. On the other hand, yours may go on for some weeks because of the shared light output. Like you stated all kinds of opinions out there.

I was thinking that maybe the lower buds could get a bit bigger if they get more direct light and a longer life. The main bud is quite big, probably more than the rest of buds together. I might as well give it a try. This tiny plant was more like an experiment, as were the previous 2 that I had in 1 liter pots. I'm liking these experiments though! They are only bonsais but they get lots of resin and nice aromas anyways! By using these tiny plants I fill my space more. I will probably try a Magic Dragon F3 next (thanks to Mossy for those beans! Really appreciated!)

I'll post updates soon! Regards!

Hey all! I'm still around! I have been enjoying some of the latest harvest lately, and writing some strain reports on the strain report forum. Nice harvest regarding effects and overall taste&aroma, although somehow dissapointing yield wise.

What's going on inside the bucket ATM you might ask? The oldest girl around is the SAD in the micro 750ml pot. She's got a pretty ripe head (about 20% amber, 20% transparent and 60% white trichs), and some new growth sprouts from the lower budsites. She's around 70 days old, I will probably cut her head off and see if the lower parts get any fatter or not.

The next would be the 2 older Magic Dragons. Remember, one was in a 3 liter pot and the other on a 1 liter pot. The fun thing is that the one in the 1 liter pot is already larger than the one in the 3 liter pot  they are both growing pretty fast considering their age, they are 15 days old now. I see no signs of sex on them yet. I would love if the one in the larger pot is a female! And a male would be great to get seeds of course -but on a small pot preferably.

I also have a new Fast Bud#1 and a new SAD Auto which are 10 days old. The FB is going OK, fast as usual. The SAD however was born with one cotyledon only and that made her slower. She's got the same amount of leaf pairs than the Fast Bud but is smaller. Let's see how they grow!

And last but not least, I planted my last Magic Dragon bean into the remaining 1 liter pot, she just sprouted today. I had bad luck with the Magic Dragon beans because 2 out of 5 died  but luckily I also got a bunch of Magic Dragon F3 beans courtesy of Mossy for future plans :D

Unfortunately I don't have pics with me ATM, but I'll take some and update accordingly soon. Thanks for reading! Cya!
