70 Day F4b Green Quacks!

Howdy,

My F4a girl is finishing her F5 seeds at my wingman's place under 12/12 now and she has most of the characteristics I'm breeding for: good indica morphology, tight buds, and despite her late kick has made up much ground -- the F4b male though, he had everything I'm looking for, including good growth rates. I figure my F5s will be perfect! So, decided to grow out the remaining F4b girls for smoke and repotted them to see if they'll put on any decent weight.

I'm looking to stabilize their color in now bigger pots (gets hard to keep 'em happy in the tiny pots I'm forced to use when I got a bunch of sprouts in that shoebox). Tried @HashMster's technique on two and left one with all her leaves to see if there will be a significant difference. Hope they get a move on though, finished buds seem at least six weeks away.

Slow buds so far but now they ain't shaded over and in bigger pots I'm hoping for a strong kick.

Hello Sunworshiper!!
Please tell us about the SecretDuck. Is it an auto?
What are its genetics?

The secret duck is from extreme seeds. It's not an auto. It is a cross of ducksfoot and chiflo(chitral x flo). I'll have to wait until she flowers to say more. Germination was decent but nothing to brag about for sure.

Tried to pm you links to both my only grow journals South Syder cuz I'm not sure if it's allowed public here?... You should be able to view them without being registered. The first journal is 1bubblechem 1diesel 1 bluedream and 1 bruce banner. Season 2 is my current journal. Just had some ducklings hatch! The sneaky duck or secret duck are in that journal now.

Also have some frisian duck just sprouted, i mean hatched :) that I'll post soon! I'd open a journal here but they're not auto so... Maybe one day I'll have some auto ducks in my arsenal. Right now it's all about flavor, speed and webbing for me in the duck breeding program.

Loving your journal man. Gives me ideas and knowledge. Thanks again.

118 Day F4a Green Quack!

Howdy,

My F4 mom is chunking up and ripening F5 beans which I'm banking are gonna be fully auto! She's taken an age! 118 days! (What's with all the exclamation marks??!!) She's from a batch of very fresh seeds which had poor germ rates and poor initial growth rates. Around bud-set, mid-life-cycle, she kicked and made up ground and confidence.

She's beautiful; great indica dominant morphology, but very late flower. Not sure about that but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt as she's finishing strong and very pretty, whaddaya all think?

Y'know, it is sorta poetic that this strain started in exactly that rig that this gal is now, I'm confident, finishing my fully auto F5 ducksfoot strain! (again with the !!?) I did the punnets before I began and figured I would get the job done by F5 or F6...let's see how close I was.

84 Day F4b Green Quacks!

Howdy,

Yes, they're auto; yes, they're flowering, yes, they're very pretty -- but way too late for my blood. Gonna have to give these Quacks to my wingman to finish because I need the space for some faster autos. Got a Citrus Noir going and plan to crack some Fairy Frosts (bloody love that strain!) so these lazy bitches is gonna need to vacate.

Yup, in a more aggressive system they'll flower quicker; yup, they're more likely 'super autos' in that they take a while but in the right pots they'll yield a truckload; yup, I will be breeding for faster indica dominant plants in future.

Cheers.
