That's not against our rules. It is however against the rules to flame a place without proper reason. In this case, I do not see anything that violates our rules in lloyd's post.

With that being said... I think the main point that's getting lost is that there is a certain stealth option that is getting caught way more than others... Avoid the clothing! That's all I will say. Choose the stealth shipping but don't get the clothing option. Anyone that wants more info can PM me directly... As we avoid talking about stealth shipping options because we don't want to give LEO a leg up. What you discuss in private is your business.

Now, let's share some genetics and don't forget if you choose a stealth option and it gets intercepted. Don't FRET. It may be discouraging and a set back but it's guaranteed. A cordial email with proof will get another one on they way to you. that's the best solution to this problem.

I wanted to get the birthday bash promo but last year and the year before I spent way too much money on seeds lol have to practice restraint LMAO I have a seed stock like no other... as I'm sure you all do! LOL us that get off the tude! Freebies out the rear..

Most of the posts in this threadexpress wonderful things about Attitude; praise and gratitude fortheir willingness to satisfy their customer orders. I was inspired byeveryone's comments concerning their great service and why I choseAttitude to place my orders. However, my experience with them hasbeen just the opposite. Noting happened the way the website describedconcerning delivery dates. Until today when I found my beans had beenseized by Customs, I thought Attitude had basically left me high anddry. Therefore, my intent is to be a responsible forum member andinform the community about my experience and how I came to myconclusions concerning my orders and there whereabouts, nothingmore...onto the questions:


*Lloydif you could, let us know whether these came through Chicago. Theyseemed to be catching more than the normal amount through that hub afew months ago...Not from Chicago, I'm closer to Seattle.


*How many orders you made...If isguaranteed why have you ordered from another seed bank and not justtold Tude? I made a few orders with Tude and we have communicatedabout each order not being delivered. Since then I've made a feworders with other seed banks which have delivered.


*We avoid talking about stealthshipping options because we don't want to give LEO a legup...What/Who is LEO? Remember, I'm very new to all this.


*Genuinely interested in why tudedidn't resend the stealth one...I told them not to resend any!They did not offer to resend the non-guarantee orders, only to addsome of it to future order. They may have tried to resend theguarantee/stealth but I have not seen it yet. Honestly, I believe itwill be lost or intercepted by Customs like the others...strange howdifferent orders placed at different times all going to the sameaddress never making their destination...hmmm.

When I told them that, I was not aware that Customs hadintercepted, only that they did not deliver within the 21 day timeframe, hence my comments about Customs being hip to Attitude'screative shipping options.


I hope these answers dissolve theassumptions. I will not post anymore concerning my experience withAttitude.

Not sure I made any presumptions at all tbh.

Why not tell them to resend the guaranteed one? That's what you say you paid for.
Why did you make "a few" orders before even one arrived and why "a few" and not just a number. Did you make 1 order and it didn't come then place another then another? "A few" would suggest more than 2.

Now you have made "a few" orders with other seed banks with success are the seed banks all in the same country; ie..does post from the UK go to the same place in the USA as post from Netherlands? For example.

Again its not clear why you told them not to resend the guaranteed one.

If you were not aware they had been taken then even more strange to tell them not to resend the thing they guarantee and more importantly you paid for.

Basicly if I'm am going to pay a extra £13 for guaranteed delivery and it isn't guaranteed then I would like to know why. That's why I'm asking as its good for all of us to be aware of doggy dealings.:check:

Bit strange also IMO to say you won't comment anymore about Attitude after you have told everyone they have taken your money and given you nothing in return.:peace:

He made a claim about a company actually discredited it IMO. Then you close the thread.

I think if he's claiming or suggesting Tude are just taking peoples money and not sending seeds out that's a big deal one way or another.

Why didn't he get them resent? Then this thread wouldn't be getting closed and he would be happy.

You can let people just say things like that and not question it, that would be madness.

Doesn't need closing it just needs a answer to find out it Tude are bent as he suggests of if he has got in a flap about his 'souvenir seeds'.

Gentleman. I don't think Mossy's request was that unreasonable. There's a lot of hostility in here right now and it's time for it to end. I know you all feel very strongly about your stances on the issue here, but it's become pretty clear the civility has left and now it's just become a witch hunt for speculated truths.

lloyd, first off let me apologize for any perceived hostilities towards you. Your experience is a bummer dude, that's something everyone here can agree on. I would hope that you would reconsider your position on sharing your Attitude experiences (if you ever order with them again,) they still do have a great reputation and I personally have had no trouble with them myself stateside (knock on wood.) But like our good friend Andy stated, it's the law of averages my friend. Not everyone unfortunately is going to have the same experience time and time again.

Believe it or not, your experiences, whether good or bad, do help members make decisions on whether or not they want to do business with a company like this. AFN is a community of shared knowledge, but what sets us apart from other sites is that we strive for the most accurate information out there, and part of doing that is to help separate the cold hard facts (undeniable) from the biased facts (which may still be very much true to an extent, but opinionated based on personal experience.) They're both very important when giving your input.

The reason I bring this up is because I want you to take a look at something. This is Attitude's FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions,) and here is an item (#6 on the list) I found possibly pertains to your situation that may shed some light on it.

6. I have not received my goods yet.
If your parcel is an international parcel and you do not receive your goods within 21 working days, then please contact us. (It is 15 working days standard for the UK) Once you have done so, we will make enquiries to try and track down your parcel into with the relevant postal service. If we are unsuccessful then we cannot be held responsible for the mail service and your quarrel is with them.

If you choose the ‘Guaranteed’ International, we guarantee your parcel in the event of it not arriving to you, and we will reship your parcel to the original address provided that we do not receive online confirmation of the delivery of your parcel from the mail service.

Please keep all packaging and breeders packs that your order arrives in, in case there is a problem with your shipment. We urge that you do this so we can help rectify the issue.


Exclusions from our guarantee:


(i) If your parcel is confirmed as delivered
by the mail service however you claim to have not received it, you must take this up with the mail service including your mail person to obtain further information where the parcel was delivered to or left at your property.

(ii) Our guarantee is also voided if you enter an incorrect delivery name (not the name on the mail box) or address, as it is your responsibility to ensure we have the correct information to ship your parcel to. 99% of parcels arrive through your door however if your parcel requires collecting from the mail service then this is your responsibility to collect it. One of the issues here is that you stated you didn't choose their guaranteed shipping. That guarantee doesn't mean that it absolutely 100% will make it to your door; what it means that in the event of it NOT making it, as long as the criteria (which they state there clearly) is met, they will make best effort to honor sending your order again. If you look through some of the pages on this thread, you'll see that Attitude has honored this several times.

I know you're frustrated bro; that's a lot of bad experiences over and over again. I hope you understand I'm just trying to point out their FAQ states some of their terms of service. They should almost have that be required to be view before even placing an order (then there would be no confusion, right?)

I can only imagine your concern for those packages not showing up (and I don't want to be presumptuous, but is that why you told them not to send the re-order?) I always say "follow your gut instinct," but in my opinion brother (and it's just my opinion, I've known to be wrong a time or two, so feel free to disagree,) you should have gave them another shot. A lot of packages from the Tude still make it to the states with no problem, although the problem of them getting snagged, though intermittent, seems to be a concern among a lot of members. The choice is always yours, but those packages from any other supplier stand the same chances to be inspected if it's international parcel. Plus Attitude offered to send you part of your reorder on future orders, that's pretty cool man!

lloyd, I want you to feel welcome to post your experiences on the forum without fear of prejudice. That being said, please don't get upset if people post something about your experience as that's part of the sharing experience. Granted sometimes people REALLY share, but that's why we work on setting things back on course. If you ever feel like you're being attacked in a post, you can always report it (it's the little black triangle with an exclamation point icon that's underneath a person's name,) or PM a moderator.

And to the rest of you, I know you're all just striving for the same truths that we all want to have (and none of the fluff,) but remember that we all experience things differently. I'm not saying I even disagree with some of your points, but the discussion has turned from away from good vibe AFN is known for and turning very pointed. We don't need anyone feeling attacked; and if they do, then there has to be some intervention. Hope you guys understand that.

Son of Hobbes, and the rest of the AFN community; thanks for your encouragement. I do not feel attacked or threatened. I have felt welcome since my registration. Thanks also, for quoting Attitude's FAQ; I used the same parts in my communications with them. If it will help, I will answer any questions any of you have, but please re-read my earlier post comments. I don't want to waste any time or effort answering a question I already addressed. I will make myself available to everyone concerning my situation, even post some of my emails sent/received with Attitude. That way you guys can decide for yourselves.
