The "AFN ASHES" Aus vs. UK

This thread will be home to us growers in the ashes series, as this is a new comp we need to set the rules.. as a whole.. together.
Here we can discuss anything related to the AFN ashes, a "central hub" if you will for us poms and convicts alike to come together and have some locker room chitchat between both teams.

!!PLEASE READ!!

This is the AFN ashes, so being true to the series, British and Australian entrants accepted only.

The ashes will host autoflowering cannabis strains only

The ashes is an open class grow battle, meaning no restrictions on your setup.

Weekly updates prefered, but fortnightly is good to, if you will be away when your next update is due, you must notify us.. a message in the grow thread saying you'll be away if fine.

Multiple plants are allowed, but you must only pick one to be judged at the end of the comp

Dead line is 1st September, no beans to be dropped after this date, finish will be at the end of the year 31st of December, germ anytime after the 11th June, and we will announce the winner on the 8th of Jan.. same day the cricket ashes finish.

Winning team will be decided by AFN members in a voting poll.

I've PM'd greenie with the basic rules for the comp.
One thing I'd like is to decide on is how should the winning team be decided.. leave it up to the AFN members to vote for the team with the best plants? Or team with the highest total yield should be winner? Or maybe someone else has another idea?
So there's no restrictions on your setup/grow styles/ methods, any lights, any medium, ect ect just no light from the big red thing in the sky

I would take yield out of it , and go for the best looking plant and Bud . As some may not have the top notch lights . I don't .

We may have to have a staggered starting time , I have 8 weeks to go before the room will be available to start a new grow . and there may be others in the same boat .

Oh damn, i was kinda hoping we could kick off in July some time, id like for us to all start around the same time, even if it means us guys that are ready to go now, wait for the others to free up room.. I don't mind

hey everyone : )
ill be starting my next run in 2 weeks i reckon. dont mind waiting a bit but its 100+ days for me so i might take longer than most anyway.
