Some great places in the UK. My favourite is around the lake district in North lakes and here in Scotland, but agree uts hard to find smoker friendly places where you're not frowned upon for sitting outside enjoying a toke minding your own business whilst you listen to the drunken idiots arguing and fighting over a spilt vodka 2 cabins down

Exactly, I’ve been kicked out of places Bcos someone clocked on. (Never smoked in someone’s actual building but maybe around and on the premises)

So what's your plan currently? Same as earlier in the thread or are you waiting to see what the crowd funding does?

Could you start smaller with a 1 station area and expand later if it's profitable? Or at least not losing $$ initially.

Not enough to start the idea. I’m debating whether to break it up into 2 phases make it less daunting maybe.

UK is funny with laws so it’s kinda go hard or go home to some extent lol

This is the basics….

You must have planning permission for the campsite before you apply for a licence. You do not need a licence to run a campsite if: the site is used for camping in tents on fewer than 42 days in a row, or fewer than 60 days in any 12 month period.

The fact I plan on it hopefully being wooden lodges changes that as they are classed as “temporary” buildings (under a certain height).

The camping could be sufficient enough for a year maybe 2, it still requires the same facilities as my plan (don’t ask why as I don’t know lol) but because they are “buildings” permission is needed, even with static caravans, and yurts. I understand it’s to stop any Tom dick or Harry throwing up buildings. I plan on making minimal disruption to the land and the area, if anything create a mini microclimate lol
