Completed The 2021 Outdoor Auto/Photo Competition!

Thanks for the input guys!I'm pretty sure it was some sort of sucking bug that injects some sort of toxin and sucks out the chlorophyll and other juices.
It's not Anthracnose. I've never seen it with bite marks in every spot. Does kinda look like it though, if not for that one point.

My guess is Stinkbug.

That's one thing I haven't seen at this place, oddly enough. I haven't planted any squash or cantaloupes here though. LOL!
That is a pretty good candidate though.

psst -> they only come out at night :eyebrows: or at least that'z my experience here in mizery....er, i mean missouri :rolleyes2: i've had similar spotting showin up on almost all the big, pretty fanz of me photoz, grrr :nono: more of a lighter, rust color than ur'z tho, not that dark brown...i never see any pest activity durin the day tho, so i'm startin to suspect stinkbugz, idk  ppp

They hate tee tree oil from my experience cat nip seems to make them fuck off also.

welp, unfortunately, it lookz like the photo girlz are gonna hafta save the day now, cuz all the autoz are now outa the running :wall: all evidence pointz to a soil issue, but i'm still tryin to figger it out, so it'z gonna hafta be film @ 11 on that
:dammit:what happened bro'? ... failed to thrive, sputtered out...? Damn!
At least the photo chica's are well sorted :greenthumb:
Made it through the heatwave... 4x on the watering and also catch trays so that plants could wic up water from below. my 15 gal containers I watered with 1-2gal of water and it never made it to the catch tray. A fan helped and hoping it doesn't kill off the stacking and packing to badly. My Auto's are all on day 75 of their journey. What I have been doing differently this year here in the PNW is to use CannControl from Mammoth Microbes for my IPM insecticide/fungicide. It's doing a great job along with Monterey BT and hoping I can get to the finish line with this last application last evening. The nice thing is neither products cause any premature ripening of the flower/pistils/calyx/trichomes that I can see with the naked eye or digital photo. So for you peeps that tend to battle PM and other pests you should check it out.
:yay: thank gawds Mason, after that roasting you should be stoked to have protected them as well as you did, nicely done :d5:..
It's mites in particular that really blow up exponentially after such weather....
Yeah, pistil burn is a thing, even rain can cause it,...certainly some things are much harder on those delicate structures than others,... did you have them in shade when you sprayed by chance?
Noted on CannControl, I'ma go look it up and see what's in their formula!
Not an update just a couple picture, slugs in the green house are so annoying so I put the girl with the tomatoes hope to give her some cover from over looking houses,
Go out at night and snuff them fuckers as well! I've had them damn near girdle a few plants rasping at the base "bark", FFS! Slime trail busted them hands down...:tang:
WTF is this?
Bug sting, feed or laying an egg? I can't see any eggs. All spots have the same bite or injection point.
Don't think it's a fungus of sort.
Naturally it's on my best girl Bruce, but a couple spots on Pinky next to her.
A fairly good search on all the others found nothing, but I'm going out to check further and trim the spots out if I find more.
Looks fungal Bill, possibly from thrip/leafhopper bites opening it up to septoria or something.... Look into getting SNS209, I love this stuff! It's a systemic made from a derivative of rosemary oil which make the sap taste bad. A few weeks before harvest you stop using it and it'll metabolize out-
For the fungus, any safe garden product will be OK, neem oil, essential oil stuff,.... If you use neem oil be sure to use a wetting agent, like Coco Wet, yucca won't cut it. That oil needs to emulsify!

@Waira very lucky I found one mite and killed it. I spray at night and get everything around them for 50ft.It’s some herbal oils and lecithin. They make a biocontrol for mites now too but the main one I use covers mites too.

I Can't find it anywhere right now due to the covid-19 fake ass pandemic scare. Apparently when they were shut down they couldn't make enough of it. You can't find it anywhere online in the stores. Nobody's got it. I've looked everywhere this year for it and call everybody within 25 miles of me that has a grow shop and can't find it. But the main ingredient is Potassium Bicarbonate food grade 85% . Great stuff man you can make it yourself.
A 2 lb bag of food grade potassium bicarbonate is $23 on Amazon. But it kills powdery mildew on contact. The potassium bicarbonate is good for us as well come to find out. After a thorough study you can put 1/4 teaspoon of this in a gallon jug of water and make yourself some alkaline water. This is great for your cardiovascular system an your nerves. imagine that. :pighug:And there's more things it's good for in your body.
Have a think about it and research it it's good stuff to have around.

You're going to run into a whole host of insects and bugs growing outside down there in Texas if that's where you're at.? I think you are.

You're going to have leafhoppers any minute if you don't already have them.

Leafhoppers are really hard to control. But not a big deal.. They're just thirsty. The best thing I can tell you to do with those is to make sure your grass is cut really short near and around the plants and water it and water your grass out away from your plants because that's what they're looking for is moisture in your plants. Your plants have got lots of moisture. So if the grass and weeds are brown or dead around your plants and the surrounding area they're going to come look for your plants. They're thirsty Little Critters.
Good luck pal happy growing :pass:
