Completed The 2021 Outdoor Auto/Photo Competition!

Again, I recommend to all contestants, get your pic shooting skills honed for the final pics! At that point, it's a beauty contest, and if you're interesting in actually winning, better pics = better chances when the voting public weighs in

to Waira’s point.... a picture tells a thousand stories! I had some shots last year I wish I had submitted instead of what I did.

@Waira i hear ya bro it’s not like I’ll be faced with which 15fter to go with this year. I know by September my choice will be made on the photos. For my autos.... i should know by July....
:crying: so true, that Jamaican cross had you working overtime!

Shiva's Mistress: Guerilla Auto Anarchy in the UK

2021/06/11: Day 24 from sprouting (Day 29 from germ)

UK weather has picked up, now with sunshine and day temps 20+C, even up to 25C.
So I've been putting them outside during the day to harden off.

@pop22 @Waira -- They've mostly gotten over their former problems, so I am thinking it was those little bio pots.
Still look a bit stunted though.
Maybe they'll go into their outside homes soon.
Though I'll need to do some more site prep.

Have a couple of Twenty20 Auto Go-Go babies just out of the ground as well.
If these Seedstockers have further issues, I may switch to one of the Twenty20s for this Outdoor Battle!

I use straw and move it aside to top dress, then put the straw back

That's what I do as well.

Tho I'm using grass/nettle mulch clippings from around my yard instead of straw.

It can be a bit tedious at times to move the mulch to the side when watering & feeding the soil but that top layer of grass/nettle mulch really helps to keep the things "alive" and active around the top soil, as well as keeping the soil a bit cooler and helping to retain moisture.

:jointman: let'm roll for a bit and see what they do,... If they wonk-out, then I say hook them T20M girls up in here! G&S stuff isn't what I'd call a "contest", so anything in a G&S gig is fine to run in here as well!

I don't use the straw or wood chips because I top dress with dry nutrients and did not want the stuff in the way. Maybe it would still be ok
No till with cover crop! Toss the top layere and plant clover and grass! Wood chips are crapy if you get Michigan weather!
