got the stretch going really need to learn how to defoliate properly. Think it may increase my bud density and overall yield. Open to suggestions

Mind that this is just my personal opinion on the subject and you will hear many others here. In the end - you are in control With the quality of the indoor lights and their penetration ability, I only defoliate for air flow the buds mostly take care of themselves. I am also lazy and can grow more than enough. At one point I did a lot of defo and the buds had better bag appeal but the quality was lower.

start by removing the bottom 1/3 of the plant matter its called lolli popping

I will be doing some experimentation with this on my next grow to see the difference in yield and bud formation vs just light defoliation.

In my opinion that's the best approach mate

You've got to trial different techniques to see what works best for you and your growing environment

@HSO-Mark. Sorry I got so behind on this life got crazy at work and just did not have time to update. I harvested the 3 Fast flower Green Crack on May 21 which was 6 weeks after flip the buds are dense and frosty as seen below. Total weight was a little over 2 pounds dry.

@HSO-Mark the OGKZ went until June 3rd so 3 are hanging and 1is in a rack right now. I will update weight on these 4 plants after final trim up. These buds are dense and frosty as well.
