Indoor thc content?

Hey bushdoctor welcome here buddy. There are a few of us scientific folk on the site that are interested more in depth than the average joe pollen chucker so you'll fit right in and add to the discussion. Check out some of the stickies in the breeding section for some good mind candy

Err, I meant greenthumper lol too much samurai jack in my brain. That's one in the eshop to try and its great for breeding as well. Adds mold resistance and makes the THC:CBD ratio more towards thc

I was watching a program on satilite I think it was weed wars and they said the pot that was around in sixties and seventies was only in the five to ten range in thc and todays weed with all the breeding can get up to twenty to twenty five%.All I know is the stuff we got in Nam was some kick ass weed, stronger than some ive had lately,so I think the numbers dont mean much.Even the same strains are listed on some seedstores are all different from one to another. The word of mouth will dictate which strains are great, good or just ok.

I had no idea there was a seed store attached to the forum! I think I'll have to make a purchase :booya:. I always wonder how stable the genetics are for the major seed companies. I think they are more concerned with quantity then quality

Hit up the AFN Seed Shop bro, you won't be sorry! :smokebuds:

Would anyone recommend the purple ak's? They look delicious, is the purple pheno dominant?

I've seen lots of delicious Purple AK's grown here. If you peruse through the Indoor Growing section, keep an eye out for threads with PAK in the title. I tried doing a search to try and link you to some grows, but it says "PAK" is too short of a search term.

How is thc content determined? . :bong:

depends...there are three different methods i know of used for determining thc content...one and maybe the most popular for smoking, is gas chromatography...it separates particles...measures what is what...
then there is high pressure liquid chromatography...

and one other way i cannot remember that is used for thc...i think it is thin layer chromatography...

one of the last two is arguable better for test edibles they say, do not ask me why...
