Anybody know? I know, I know, I'm asking for recommendation on the Bud Lite of weed.

I've not touched the stuff in over 30 years. Part of the reason is that most of what I had access to over the years has way too much THC in if for me. I just don't like a buzz where I think I had a good time, but can't really remember.

Having done one grow for others, quite enjoying that side of it and with all the different strains out there, I'm wondering if I can find a variety that will give me that very light happy buzz I remember.

i think a thc cross cbd would give you a nice mellow buzz i grew up smoking whatever resin was about as in the UK that's all you could get

I still have one guy that gets that old mexican brick. Haha I like it now and then for the nostalgia. If we're talking about the same kind of stuff, it's not that strong but has a nice light, sativa high. And it doesn't last that long. Aside from getting a cbd cross, you could just roll up a new strain with like 70% cherry blossom or some other cbd-dominant flower.

@St. Tom That's what I got a request to grow in the spring, so I'll probably give that a try.

@christianaf That's the stuff. Short, light happy buzz.

Consulted google and there seems to be no consensus. Probably 4-6% The stuff I grew had no or little bud, so probably 2-4%.

There are little things called "one hitters". Grind up the stuff you grow for others and take a tiny hit.

You could grow as someone said above a high cbd/low thc strain sativa dominant...1:1 or 2:1 strain and microdose with a vaporizer.
Or, grow a higher thc strain sativa dominant and buy online a straight cbd/hemp. Mix them to various ratios to find your sweet spot.

Though I grow alot I only take a couple hits occasionally and even then some strains take me to a new orbit. can't imagine choking down a whole joint or bowlful. lol.

A "One hitter" is just that.......one hit. Ya don't have to pack it full or hold the hit in.
Micro dosing with a vape is a great option for controlling the high and getting exposure to the nuances of the flavor of canna.

Thanks all for the replies.

That seems the simplest route. Since I'm looking at growing a 1:1 thc/cbd strain next and it is likely to be in the range of 6 to 8% thc, small hits may be the ticket.
Maybe Ace Seeds Lebanese or Moroccan are what you are looking for buzz-wise. Give it a Google and check out the description of the plants at the Ace website.
The ace seeds Lebanese Standard sounds just the ticket, but its not an auto. I'm space limited on my balcony and in my location something that does not flower until late Sept. early Oct. will never produce. I need to be finishing in late Sept at the latest.

Now, from the description, it has some auto tendencies and the recommend large pots to avoid it going into flower too soon, I'm wondering if I put one in a two gallon pot will I get something that will finish early?
