Ha! Yeah, I keep catching myself looking at digital SLRs on Amazon, knowing that I'd only use it for plant photos. After using an SLR for years back in the days of film, I just can't take my little Canon T-10 seriously, and I know it shows in my pictures. Still...it would be absolutely ridiculous to buy a nice camera just for this (particularly with my budget!). Wouldn't it? Umm....

Switched things up a bit and made some improvements. To start with I put a bathroom exhaust fan into the ceiling of the closet, and it's pumping the hot air into the attic where it belongs. I took out all the supplemental cfl's except one - and then I raised the light and put the glass back in it. Last thing was to put my ballast on the closet door with the fan blowing on high, off the door, and into the closet. All the plants are getting a little air - just enough to toughen em up and keep cool air coming into the closet. All I gotta do now is tweak the AC so it is cool, but the humidity stays in the 40's at the least.
Oh yeah, last unknown gender plant I had sexed - it's a girl as well.

Supernatural OG FIM - Day 24
OK, so I Fim'd one of my Mephisto plants this morning. For any1 following along, I also fim'd my Shiznit at day 13. Yesterday was the first day I noticed any real vertical growth on her, but from what I can see there is still only one main primary. I guess I didn't take her low enough, must have missed by a millimeter. Not enough is definitely better than too much in this case tho. That being said, I think I nailed the SOG FIM. I referenced Faded and his technique as I was doing it.
It looks like I got down into the meat just enough, but time will tell
The OCD in me drives me mad, with this little bit of heat damage I have. I have to fight the urge to get in there and clear out all the imperfect leaves. So far all I have cut was visibly dead and crispy leaves. I keep reminding myself, I've seen plants with way worse damage, that took way more abuse, and turned out incredible. I really did learn a valuable lesson, and I won't repeat the high heat low RH mistake again. I'm not even half way through this grow yet. All the major, fast growth is about to begin !
I'm going camera shopping tomm morning, can't wait to post some pictures and video in HD.
