Since I am using MG premium potting soil - 0,21% N, 0,07% P, and 0,14% K - I haven't been adding anything.
Typically it's great right up until flower and then I start adding bloom booster. I had another grow with this soil that went great, the only thing that's changed is my tap waters PH. The only other thing I can think is I was over watering a bit as well.....
Im sure they will be fine mate. Ive only ever used biobizz light mix and plagron light mix. As theyre peat based i mix in a little garden lime. My tap water is usually about 7.4 out of the tap too. Well it was the last time i checked ph about 3 or 4 months ago
On tha shiznit that yellowing right around the outside of the leaves looks a lot like a potassium deficiency! From what ive read that happens if theres to much nitrogen or calcium or the ph is out. I would bet its the latter!
Your tap water is on the high side ph wise. But i think you need to find out the soil ph im guessing it may be out of range too?
If you dont have a soil probe try the run off test bro!
Also im not experienced enough to be giving this kind of advice so maybe someone like @Waira@namvet25 or @oldster can help, if they dont stop by try the live help thread buddy!
Thanks a lot Sanguine, I appreciate it. Maybe my water company has too much calcium in the water - soon as I have the money I'm just gonna buy some gallons of distilled water. They do look better after a properly PH'd water feeding, time will tell
Got everything sorted out in the Infirmary - too much heat, not enough humidity, and a bit of over watering in the beginning (10 gall buckets threw me off ). Speaking of infirmary, the DOC is in the house !
Day 22 - Two more plants showed sex and they are both ladies.
So that is 3 down - one to go ! To tell the truth I wouldn't be mad if it was a boy.
I have extra CFL's, and Zero beans after this, so either way,
T9 is winning.....LOL
As for the technical difficulties, everything is all sorted out.
Thanks to the good folks @ AFN !
For the record, and for anyone referencing this journal in the future,
the problem was high temps and low RH. No deficiency, PH was not the issue !
They look so much better and are way more photo-active now.
Today I realized my fan has different modes , and one of them is a storm mode !
Things are going swimmingly, the RH has been holding in the low to mid 40's and I've been misting a bit while the fan is on storm mode. Temps have been holding in the mid 80's (f). Hopefully they will lower soon because my AC has been full power for 2 weeks and its 2 yrs old.....
I have a few shitty pictures to post - I really dislike the quality but it's what it is unless I use the laptop as a camera. I will have a new high res camera or phone this weekend - buying one just for the plants, no BOM NOM's otherwise - and I can't front , I want a trophy, (who doesn't right?)
