Well - I've dusted off and am ready to try another run in preparation for a long cold fall and winter.

Hopefully, this will be my first successful Mephisto grow.

I have a few minor equipment upgrades. A new 600 WATT Gorilla HPS, a nice, new, weighted, oscillating fan. Two 10 Gallon buckets, Three 150 Watt CFL spirals (2700k) and 5 yards potting soil. Soil is MG - (I know-I know- but after losing good beans to crap soil I feel super safe going with a tried and trusted brand). I also have new timers, an a/c wall unit, and thermometer.

All together I will be running 4 plants total. 3 "Supernatural OG's" from Mephisto and 1 last "Da Shiznit" from S.S.S.
I will be running a 20/4 light cycle with supplemental CFL lighting, going to try and maintain a climate of 78 F and 35% RH. No Nutes till Flower, gonna be bubbling all feeds and water. Fingers crossed ! :weed: :baked: :weed:

First up Da Shiznit @ 8 days - 10 gallon bucket

The rest are all my special, sweet, little babies - and key in my quest for a Mephisto badge. All are 3 days old @ midnight EST :biggrin:

Fimmed my Shiznit today @ (day13) :smoking: Never ever have I tried this before, but I think I hit my mark. I haven't seen anyone fimm one of these yet, but I have seen this strain get huge, and exhibit good strength and resilience throughout.

My cat got to it and chewed on the leaves a bit, nothing too serious. It was just the bottom 2 leaves, the first two that grow. Hopefully it will be un-phased and can handle the light de-foil and fimm with no stunt or hermi. From now on the door to my grow room will be tightly closed!
:kitty::weed:

As for the 3 Supernatural OG's - they are all taking off nice. No discoloring or mutations, all business so far.:jointman:

Yeah, I've noticed that the little munchkins love to get into the grow area. Haven't caught one of mine chewing on a plant yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time!

Afraid I brought it on myself, as my first run (during the winter) I had planted her a box of grass to munch, and when I harvest she cleans up my scraps and chews on the stems. Now if I go upstairs she will throw herself down in front of the door as if she's dying. LOL - Lucky for me she understands English and knows it's paws off till harvest. :weed::tang::weed: :kitty:

Supernatural OG - Day 10 - quick pic update.

The plant in the 5 gall container is the biggest by far, go figure! This will be a good test for just how much pot size is a factor, with three different sized containers. So far they have grown quicker than anything I've planted before. The one in the 5 had the biggest tap root, just from 12 hrs of germ. I'm debating on fimming at least one of these as well. Da Shiznit took it well, but I'm holding off on pics until I get a higher resolution camera. Stuck with a 2 MP for now :weed::peace::weed:

I believe I have a Cal deficiency from PH being too high - pretty sure i caught it in time b4 any major damage was done, i'll post some pics later, it sucks - didn't see this coming at all. My tap water PH is coming out at like 7.3 - 7.0 (a good full point swing from the norm).
As usual the check is in the mail and money is tight so I'll be using vinegar to lower the ph. Seems a tried and tested organic method. The obsessive perfectionist in me wants to just start over but I keep reminding myself they are right at the sweet spot for explosive growth and so far all the damage is on what would be the first fans to go anyways.....:shrug:
