Testing the Wild Thing (USA Only)

Update on the outdoor Wild Thing R2 testing. She's really stacking up and looks like a block of bud. Not much of an aroma yet just hints of floral sweetness.

The flowers are already pulling some color

Has a nice mixed fruit aroma and taste after a 3.5 week cure. I can smell some creamy banana liqueur in there and rotting berry. A good all around smoke, too much will leave the eyes heavy but not closed.

And WildThing #1 (left in tent)

This one has a looser bud structure, more spear like. Aroma of dry is a mint, chemical aroma with sweet underlying. Smoke of this one taste of sandalwood and earthy mint. Very “up” feeling and quick hitting with a med-long buzz. I enjoy it. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy both! #1 packs a punch without fruity flavors and #2 is a touch more mellow with truckloads of flavor.

Excellent feedback my friend and awesome run with them!

Update on the outdoor Wild Thing R2. She is fully stacking loads of large flowers! The aroma is a light mixture of garlic, floral, sweet, gas. It is still a ways out till harvest I'm guessing around mid to late October. The size of the flowers is incredible on this plant. I'm hoping that doesn't turn into a problem later on but she's looking like a heavy producer! It's not super heavy with trichome production yet which I hope that changes over the next few weeks

Outdoor Wild Thing R2 is really starting to fill out! It is stacked with large dense nuggetry! I'm thinking 2 to 3 weeks left to go. It's aroma is like Irish Spring soap mixed with an odd sour and pepper mixture. Definitely a bit different aroma from the ones I encountered with the indoor grows.

Update on the outdoor testing with the Wild Thing. I have already sampled a bit of flower from this girl and it's some tasty strong flower. I started to harvest a little bit yesterday but will probably let it go for another 2 weeks at most weather permitting. It's been cold and raining non stop for the last 7 days here so harvest could possibly come a little early. It is stacked with large dense flowers all over. I believe I'm looking at a rather large yield off this beast. I did happen to find a few small spots of botrytis which I cut out and for how dense the flowers are I would say it's doing very well.

Wild Thing R2 outdoor update. I've been working on the harvesting this weekend and will hopefully have most of the garden down by the end of next weekend. This phenotype currently has a strong garlic onion mushroom steak aroma and a strong sage and sour flavor with an intense soaring energetic effect. I ended up starting the harvesting about a week earlier than anticipated but it was starting to get a bit of bud rot in the large top colas last week as the weather was rain every day and cold.

It will probably take a month or so to get everything trimmed up and bagged to get a rough final yield but she was a heavy producer of some top grade outdoor flower.

Wondering if I’ll get a JeanO banner for my review of the Wild thing… hoping so! It would look cool!
I meant a JeanO grower badge… @Jean-O ? Do we get them for the test grow? Not being pushy, just wondering…
