I am afraid the results were not good enough.

Test auto#1 was hoped to give really good yields via longer lifetime, a long life super auto. But the stability we needed was not there I am afraid. maybe we will resurect the idea in future, maybe not. We had mails saying it was the ultimate idea for a plant that would outyield anything else. Others said that a 15-week auto had no advantages over photoperiod varieties. Personally I like the idea even if it is only a small minority of customers that would like it

Test auto#5 was a great genetic heritage but I believe the seed quality was not up to standard so we will scrap them all. Some of the seedlings did not look healthy enough.

So bad news and my apologies to the test growers who I have mailed. As always we will make things right with these folks.

It doesnt always go to plan and sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit it, no point introducing something that isn't up to standard

Thanks for the opportunity to grow for DP dude and like I said to you yesterday "it was a TEST after all"

id rather have only a few good auto's to choose from than alot of unstable ones
I think alot of autos are lacking density, vigour recently and pheno varation is not even funny

my experince is as far as efficiency goes... super auto stuff has a hard time competing, especially when you consider indoor growers and hours of light required power calcs. as opposed to a smaller 12/12 flower and a small veg chamber for mother and a few clones. however, portability is something gained and certainly there are scenarios where these are the BEST solution.

For outdoor guerilla growers, it certainly saves having to drive with live plants and hike in to a location... seeds go in a very small container comparably.

ps - if we passed every test we took with flying colors... what are we truly learning?
our toughest failures can truly be our best learning experiences :2cents:

For the record Tony, I would love a 15 week auto and totally see the value in it...put her in a big ole pot, set the lights to 20/4, and then grow 3-5 dwarf autos around the perimeter while your mama plant matures. I think it's a super idea and if you're looking for a way to dispose of those nasty leftover seeds, I'd be super stoked to help.
