Test auto#1 is the larger plant centre frame, day 26 from getting the seed wet,no sign of pre-flowers yet..plenty of daily growth though, and the familiar branchiness of a good stout auto.
Really nice looking plants bro, can't wait for them to start throwing some naughty bits for you to look at, who am i kidding, I wanna see 'em too! great progess so far.
test auto#1 has received some light bondage.I got some good results by splaying my TD plant but left it a little late to make a huge amount of odds. This time the training has started early, but gently~Using some rubber coated wire,I made sure the base of the stem wouldn't move damaging the roots before I attached another piece of wire to the opposite side of the top of the plantand gently bent it downwards being careful not to cause a fold in the stem,I don't want to do any training that will stress a plant that will spend such a short time in life as an auto.As you can see, despite being bent so that the top leaves were facing the ground less than 24 hours later the top is happily facing the light source again and the plant shows no sign of damage/bruising or stress,it's still feeding and has grown plenty today.I also removed one large leaf to expose the branch tops underneath. Now the stem is a graceful 'S' shape!
EC has been .8/9
ph has been 5.9-6.2
The plant showed a little leaf flash the day before traing~I had allowed it to get too close to the LED which is easy to do as the lack of heat makes it seem safe to put the lamp very close but these hydrogrow units are really intense with the 3w diodes so you have to be on the ball..
(on the subject of LED I have been super lucky to be drawn from a hat as an existing hydrogrow customer to test an experimental prototype they have been working on,it's on the way now I'm super stoked to check it out after working with my panel I bet it will grow great pot!)
