Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...

Hey guys, kinda on, off topic, I am using one of those fans that you use in heating ducs to help carry the air further,(the back of the houae, or a vent or vents furthest from the blower in tour furnace. They are super super quiet, and I'm pretty sure you can you can get them in 4-6-8, and even bigger if your into mass production. I am using six inch, vented in and out under my deck from basement

I used the booster fans for a long time and they work great as long as its a short run of pipe . How long is your ducting gonna be? the 6 inch booster fans are around 200cfm if I remember correctly. But they dont work well with carbon filters it will restrict your fan.for another 20$ you can get a good inline fan. Its worth it. I too grow in basement and I have to bring in fresh air from outside bc basement air is humid and can cause mold. How big is your grow space and what lighting are you using led or hps.

Ipower makes a good quality carbon filter and almost all fans come with cord

@can't wait Be sure to put the atmark @ in front of the AFN name to tag someone. I use an 8" Hyper Fan in my grow space and the 6" Hyper Fan in the picture. The 6 inch was my space fan but it could not move enough air in the space to keep the heat down in the summer so I went to the 8". The charcoal filters are 6" and 8" standard iPower cans.

Tyler, my grow space is about 7x10x8, I am usimg LEDs, white flood 300wt, and the others are full spectrum. Not the best setup but it works for now, this is my first auto grow. Blueberry's and gold leaf, I am sloqsl putting up reflective sheets, I'm using the blankets for now, I should have had his for flowering but my buddy fell through, although I'm am impressed so far, ;other some awesome help from a few guys on here, the biggest one was a little sick, but I think with the help I got it . Tell me what ya think

Nice setup for first auto grow only thing id change is get some smart fabric pots and lay off the nitrogen a bit during flower. Your plants in veg look great but the ones in flower are a little to high in nitrogen.its a common problem growing autos in soil bc they dont have a long veg stage they dont get to use up alot of the nitrogen. A 10' run is pretty long.the leds will help since they run cool but odors gonna be a problem without a good exhaust fan and carbon filter. For a run that long id use a 400+ cfm fan with a booster fan at 5' to help. But so far your looking good. What soil you using

Can you clarify what type of lights you were using? I see some LED bulbs… What kind are those-where did you get those? They don’t look like the kind of LED bulbs that are designed for growing. I think you may be relying on lighting that will disappoint you a little further down the road.

And what is a white flood 300wt? Are you using a flood light for growing?

I wouldent bother with the scrog makes watering a pain in the ass I just lst to the side of pot and works just fine heres my skywalker and bubba kush in the tent right now all done with lst.

I agree with Tyler about the SCROG. Unless you are growing poundage, the SCROG isn’t really helping you a ton.
