New Grower Temperature not high enough?

Thanks for the help everyone @Wile e Peyote are you saying 75 minimum high temp? Or 75 minimum temp all the time even when lights are out? I think I might be butting the bullet. Someone suggested trying a germination heating mat. I just don't want to go crazy on the wattage. The one option I have is to take my my intake and hook it directly into the nearby heating vent. I just have a feeling that will be to hot. When I was building this light I was s o excited I did not think about having to rework the whole room.:face::face:
Mine is max 78f in the winter I grow I'm my loft in a tent I run my exhaust fan 24/7 the lights off temps drop to around 68 f but I'm running a 1700 watt oil heater in a 4x4 tent the reason I like oil heaters is when they switch off the still give off heat Google low cost heating the only heater I wouldn't use is one with a naked flame(self explanatory)or a blow heater (to much direct heat) [emoji106]

I toke therfore I am so naaa

I was thinking that need to get a thermostat. My only worry is my room temperature outside the tent is 64-65 so it might take forever to get to 75 degrees with the heat these cobs put off. Causing my air exchange to be very low. How big of an issue would this be?. I am going to experiment with this tonight and shut off the my outtake fan and see how long it to heat up. Thank you for the idea.
I used to run my extract (exhaust) fan on a timer to help build up some heat.

My grow is in the loft so the ambient temp around it varies massively. I've insular my tents, each has a tube heater as mentioned by blue as does the air intake which comes from my airing cupboard!

Is the temp outside your tent a steady 65? If so the tent should warm up reasonably quickly and having the fan on a statement will not cause any great issues. The main problem if it's off for too long will be humidity.

Your plants will grow in low temps, just not very well. They need some warmth for transpiration, to get the water and nutes flowing through the plant.

it is isn't it?

@witchyhour If you want to have a good laugh look what happens to a tent when run your duct directly to it, but forget to turn up your exhaust. I have negative pressure when my house heater is not running. When the heater is on I have the state puff marshmallow tent. (this has been adjusted)

Well after running the ducting through the tent I am looking at about 71 i thought it would be higher. I did not take into account the pressure and needing to crank my fan up to compensate for that. So it drags the temp down a little faster between the furnace kicking on. I am thinking i could run a low watt germination mat and see what I can get out of that. Hopefully close to the 75. my low temp has increased a little guessing around 67-68. @blue It is a conspiracy those green house tube heaters seem to only be sold in Europe but they look like exactly what I need. Every green house heater i find here is a giant 1000-1500 watt box. That you all for the help and ideas. If all else fails I am going the sealed oil heater i suppose.

I am assuming the heater doesn't run constant to keep this template?

@AJrexxx have you considered a duct reducer for you exhaust. Looks like you could use a little less air exchange and that should bring temps up a tad.

Just a thought
