Teach Me About Seeds and Their Distribution

Hembra is an excellent source.
They always seem to be on top of their stock, esp. with breeders like Gnome and NO. I picked up some NO gear from them at TAC2021. Nice people and easy to deal with. Don't really understand the whole breastaurant vibe but hey that's cool. No complaints.

The solo is fantastic! Its not very expensive at all and it works just like you would want. It also is much more effective, so I smoke much much less to get the same effect. Plus, the taste is worlds above smoking. I'm to the point now where I don't even want to use the pipe just cause the taste/high isn't nearly as good.
I’ve been a nicotine vaper for a long time, probably saved my life. Used to smoke 2 packs a day. Now I only smoke on my birthday.

What is the Solo?

PS - sorry for the thread derailment.

I will have to give them a go for some NO then. I highly doubt that I’ll ever get in on the blessed, bundle drops that NO does.

Arizer Solo, its a dry herb vape. Super simple, affordable, and does the job quite well. We are both nic vapers as well, hubby was in your former boat 4 years ago. I believe @Bruce Campbell posted a discount code in LS a few days ago.

Ive heard of the Arizer. I’m interested I think.

Yup, smoked cigs for like 25 years. Don’t necessarily want to smoke the canna either. But, like I said, I’m a cheap date. I will look for the code.

I'll chime in (why not?). I'm a daily flower vaper as well. In terms of vapor density and flavor, I prefer the S&B Mighty for a portable.

I bought a solo and ended up giving it to my son. Went back to the Mighty and have been relatively pleased with the decision. One thing I did like about the Solo was the clear glass tube. Nice to see the vapor travel down the vapor path.

IMHO, YMMV, etc.

I have no quarrel with this observation. And I agree with you.

Strain, potency, your situation, attitude and a million other variables make it too difficult to pigeon hole strain vs. strain for me as well.

As for growing your own and the loss of negative effects ... that is completely my hope.

I'm growing White Widow and Blue Dream right now. It will be fun to compare the different highs knowing I held their hand all the way from germination to curing.

I’m no guru on molecular studies. But I’ve been reading lately that on a molecular level, there is no difference in effects between sativa and indica. That’s basically determined by the terpenes. Don’t mean to open a can o worms, just what I’ve been reading. Dunno how true it is.

There is a difference in plant structure between the 2 however. And so many hybrids that I’m not sure if it matters?

Anyway I’ll tell you. I used to get super paranoid and anxiety ridden when I would partake. But that stuff was from who knows where. I don’t have that happen with what I grow. Odd.

There was that one plant I grew outdoors a few years back though. Whenever I had it I would break down and cry my eyes out. And then one night it got me so high that I nearly choked to death on a French fry. My wife had headphones on and had no clue what was going on. Like something out of a dark comedy in hindsight. But I never touched that strain again.

I have the Solo II and the ArGo. I prefer the Solo II, but I can see the appeal of the ArGo, seeing that it is the size of a pack of cigs.

I lean to the Solo II because it heats up very fast.

At one time I owned the Extreme Q and the Solo (before II I think), or whatever version was around 10 years ago. When I decided to throw in the cannabis towel I gave it to my good friend.

It's funny, when I decided to give pot another try I went out and bought a 14" thick glass bong because of the nostalgic memories of my first apartment after high school. I had a plastic bong that was probably 30". We took a hack saw to it and made a more useful pipe.

Thank you. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

Edited to Add: I responded to the first reply without scrolling down first.

I really appreciate everyone's input.

I bought recently bought a fist full from Herbie's and they all ended up being Seedstockers, just by chance. I was looking for Indica strains with good reputations and good descriptions explaining where the head and body might travel.

So far, the only Dispensary bud that I have liked has been the sativa-dominate Jack Herer. At some point I would like to grow JH, or if there is a close cousin to that sativa.

The main reason I went with so many Indicas is I was hoping my wife would ease into "partaking." She has decided it is not right for her. But, I like the indica, so now problem.

I am a new consumer after years of long gaps. Mainly because I used to get anxiety and paranoia.

Now that I am retired, I wanted to day-medicate by micro-dosing sativa-leaning without pushing the head-high limits.

So far, I haven't been able to truly incorporate day medicating. However, I have really taken to enjoying the indica as I get ready for bed, and again when I wake up during the night for old man pee breaks. :smoking:

I'm working up my confidence to use weed as social product. However, I am not quite ready to take my high on the road to the pub, movies, grocery store, etc. But, I hope to eventually.

Nonetheless, I am enjoying the hell out finally using the biology and chemistry classes from college. Who knew, these girls required so much love and care.

Thanks again to everyone. My main goal is getting the best product I can ... and that starts with the seeds.

Squid Out
Just to let you know, most women prefer a sweet tasting sativa dominant strains… unless you have one that’s wants to mellow out. My wife won’t touch indicas, makes her sleepy. But, she will smoke sativa or heavy sativa dom from time to time. If it makes her giggle and laugh she’ll smoke it.
