Will be growing out the seemingly ever-popular Dutch Passion Think Different and Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel. I know these two strains have been relatively well-documented here already, but the Micro-section seems to be lacking, so here we go. Power to the little people
But first, the boring details,
Cab - 14'w x 12'l x 24'h inches
Lamps - 1st 8 days 42w CFL 6500k (24/0), day 8-18 TWO 42w CFLs 6500k (20/4), days 18+ various wattages of 2700k spectrum on standby to be added as temps allow (18/6)
Soil - Promix Ultimate Organic w/microherd (PH 6.8 to 7.2) <- theoretically
Ammendments - Perlite (alot) Vermiculite (a little), Fast-acting Lime (some), and Biotone w/microherd
Nutes - Biotone (starter), Alaska Fish Emulsion (veg), Buddha Bloom (flower), Molassas (cal-mag)
Meals - w/o nutes, tap water will be Ph'd to 6.0-6.4 using Distilled White Vinegar (also dechloromined and aerated). Fish Emulsion feedings will be on the acidic side while Buddha Bloom is highly acidic and the reason for the lime amendment in the soil. I don't have a good way of measuring the PH of nutrient solutions yet except for litmus paper so I will only know "a range"
Seeds were germinated by a 24 hour soak then directly in their final boots, pre-moistened 1 Gallon Square Nursery Pots.
Rainfall - Day 1 = sprout
Day 4
CC - Ph'd water (40ml)
TD - nada drop
Seems that I have one pot drying faster than the other, which isn't ideal considering that I expect vast differences in the requirements of these two strains as it is.
Questions, comments, concerns, observations, past experiences with the strains and even advice is not only welcomed, but strongly encouraged. I'm a grower with little time to reply much, but will try my best.
Also, bear with me on pics as I'm not a photographer and have had trouble posting them here lately, but they should be coming shortly.
Anyone know about the nutrient sensitivity of either of these two strains? Thanks for stopping in and again, welcome to this micro grow.
