Old Reviews TaNgs EASY Auto Feeding Schedule.

I was afraid you were going to say that lol...I probably should of grabbed a PH pen and some up and down before I started. This is the first time I've run bottled nutes so I never used one. I just thought I could skate around that and be golden. So, I'm going to go grab those and I'll test the runoff..

Here is the Skyrone Stomper at 13" on day 28 today

I think the problem is the soil rather than what your adding, the saying goes "if in doubt, flush it out" so give the soil a flush with water first then with a little added feed, this should balance everything out.

So flush, then add my normal watering with say 1 ML A+B and 0.5 Calmag and see how it goes from there? I'll still grab the PH pen to get an idea of what the runoff is sitting at..Maybe the Promix BX is out of whack I don't know.

Thanks.

Alright, so far I checked my tap and it comes in at 7.5. After adding the base nutrients and Calmag it's reading 6.6. I flushed with the tap water and the runoff was about 6.1. Also, what ph would you recommend I aim for when feeding the A+B in Promix?

Thanks

6.6 is what mine settles at too, the problem is low soil ph but the flush will sort that.

I would start adding from day one at say 1/2ml per L then raise that to 1ml per L as the plant matures.

No bro my tap water is 7.4 and it drops to 6.6 after I've added the nutrients.
PH perfect works by widening the buffer zone.
Weird, my tap water has an ec of 0.4, after bloom is added as per this schedule my pH is always around 7.0 to 7.2 so I'm always having to pH down to 6.5.

Hey TaNg, I've been following this schedule for the past 27 days but I think I've stumbled upon a problem. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong. My plants are under a Mars II 400 and a 150 hps ( 20/4) about 26-27" above the canopy ( the LED ). In Promix BX using A+B and Calmag plus 2-0-0 ( Can't get the Density Calmag ). My temps range from 75-81 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity anywhere from 38-60. I started the first feed on day 10 ( tap water let to sit for 24-48 hrs ) ( PH of tap is around 7.6 I think ) with 1 ML per L. By day 16 pistils had emerged. From there I was feeding 1 ML A+B plus 0.5 ML Calmag because of the extra 2% nitrogen I didn't want to get crazy. Come day 21 I was feeding 1.5 ML of A+B and upped the Calmag to 1ML. I started to notice some slight yellow tips on the Sour Stomper, but no clawing. I also noticed the first leaves yellowing out and both 3 leaf sets starting to get pale and blotchy with a paper feel. So I said to myself, ok maybe she is a heavy feeder and bumped up the feed to 2 ML and backed off the Calmag to 0.5 ML again. The top growth is green but I do notice a few yellow tips. I'm watering about 2 cups of water every other day to let the medium dry out some. I'm trying to figure out whether I fed too much or too little or if a magnesium deficiency is creeping up on me. The yellow tips tell me back off, but the pale leaves moving upward make me think it's hungry. My Skyrone Stomper looks good besides some fading below almost similar to the Sour.

EDIT: The more I look at these pics, I do notice slight clawing on a few blades of the lower leaves..

I also just ordered some General Organics Calmag 0-0-0

As TaNg already said, it seems like bad soil quality that causes PH problems. For me Plagron light is the best choice.
