Indoor taiga and polarlight #2 in dwc under l.e.d

ive been following your grow fairly closley, and just about to start my own bubble bucket, the only thing im still a little vague on is when your water levels go down in the bucket do you top up with fresh water, or wait till the water level is even lower and do a complete res change any help/suggestions appreciated!!!

i do a fresh res change every 7 days so i mainly just top up with plain water, if the ec drops to much then ill add back nutrients


day 17 from seed

all 3 plants have showed sex and i have 3 ladies, the polarlights was showing some deficeincey on her leaves but im not phased by this and neither is she as she is still growing strong

all the buckets are on 1.3 ec of canna ph 5.8ish

im guessing i may have 2 different phenos of the taiga so im interested to see whatt direction they go in, the aroma is still lacking and im only getting a faint smell of canna at the minute

all the plants sexed quite early so im guessing these could be ready for harvest at week 9, thats still a long way off

Cheers for the advice, just one more thing say you were to get a power cut over night and the pump went of for a bit what would happen to the plants??? looking really well by the way!!

i wouldnt be bothered about the plants themselves as the water does retain oxygen for a certain period of hours-days,its only when oxygen starts to deplete in the res that any root system will start to suffocate and die off

depending on the health of the plants, if the root system was to die 1st then the plants would start to pull off their own reserves which they have stored up in their leaves to keep them going

to kill a plant naturally is a long process as there main function is to grow no matter what happens,its all about survival

if you go from left to right in the pics, the plant on the left is the polarlights #2 and then its the 2 taiga's , ive done some leaf tucking to expose potenial budsites and i like each branch to fight to become the dominant cola

im only on day 19 with a fairway to go
