Syrup breeding crop with CS

Bob.... You are the shit. I was thinking.... given that the power supply was only 200 MA should I have gone 36 hours or so ? and if so..... I could use CS on a small out door patch to breed 1000's ( I want to give someone a few hundred for his help). Any ideas on why this didnt work? I did miss one day of spraying... but only one. Most of the time she was sprayed 2 times a day....

it could be you shoulda let it go longer when making it , thats where a ppm meter woulda come in handy , but with higher mA i dont check my ppm's anymore and run mine 8-12 hours , 200 is low though so yeah i woulda run it as long as i could of , the wires getting dirty every 2 hours or sooner will tell you your ppm's are up there nicely , id keep spraying it though , nothing to lose as its already imo unsmokeable (the one you have been spraying) , if it does finally reverse and pollinate the other plant let the pollinated one live untill she dies on her own , or close to it , just to give the seeds the time they need to mature

you could even run what you have again , over night while sleeping and up until the time you wanna spray tomorrow , it might very well help you and get you some seeds before its absolutely too late ?

best of luck , keep us updated

peace

We must be thinking the same thing... I just started to redo the old CS. Ill let it run overnight....

NO CHANGES..... just keeps flowering ????

this is disheartening

the only thing i can think of is the low mA , but we talked privately and i never heard you mention anything along the way to make me think it might not be working , unless maybe some of what i had mentioned went unnoticed

did the silver get dirty along the way ? did you keep whiping it to keep it clean ? if the silver didnt wanna build up a gunk then it either wasnt working or the power/mA wasnt strong enough

if it wasnt so costly for me to ship to you id send you an adaptor , but really you could buy one new for the cost it would be for me to ship a used one

id say stop spraying now , if it was going to work it still will , it will mean little to no pollin if it does , but at this late in id say thats a welcome thing , if it reverses in the next few days go with it , if it doesnt then we gotta get ya sorted for your next try

peace

No Not that I remember. They never looked dirty. I can replace the power supply...... and retry with new seeds ???

yeah , never give up , practice makes perfect as the saying goes

locate yourself a stronger power supply , shoot for anything over 300mA , ive seen a post where someone used a full 12 volt adaptor with 1 amp , id have to look at my adaptor cause memory is ,,,,, crap i forget where memory is , but mine is somewhere about 5-600 mA and i think its 9 volt

ah hell , gimme a sec ill go look lol ,,, ok mine is a 6 volt , 500 mA , ive made gallons with this adaptor and its still going strong

ok so , you didnt see the wires getting dirty , thats a sign that something wasnt working right , or maybe at all , did you use a volt meter or at least touch/cross the wires to check for spark to be sure the adaptor works ? not that it matters now since you mentioned getting a different one for the next try

dunno what else to say other then im bummed out your first try failed , dont feel bad or lose interest though , its very common to fail in the beginning , practice makes perfect

best of luck with your next try and im looking forward to seeing the thread when you start it

peace

p.s. remember , its possible to get 2 and in some areas 3 harvests a season outdoors with the quicker autos

SON OF A BITCH !!! I just used my multi meter to check my power supply.... voltage goes from 2.2 volts to 6.3 volts and everywhere in between.... It has issuses... I never even thought to check it until now

Went to goodwill today with my multimeter.... Bought a power supply for 99 cents..... hold voltage at 6.72 dc...400 ma.... $1.07 later my problem was solved.... IF your using mine as a guide... RULE # 1 check your power supply first !!!. Round 2 will be an outdoor attempt.... In about a month... wish me luck:toke:

have you tried using just a 9v battery? It sucks to have to buy new ones every time but I have never had a problem with them.
