Hey guys,

quick question... The trichs on the top bud are now Amber... But all the others are beginning to get cloudy. I still think I have about 2 - 3 weeks left though. What should I do ?

should I chop the top bud off?

Kind of a judgement call, SSD.
I've done a two part harvest with good results, just too keep from getting too much of a couch lock medicine. If she hasn't started on straight water yet it may not be the best tasting/burning smoke, but it would probably pack a good punch.

i took that one wee bud and it knocked me sideways.. But is chopping her head the best idea? Will it cause the Lower bud to swell more? I just don't wanna leave it to late and end up with garbage!

I'll have to look to see which gal I did the partial on, but I remember that it finished just fine, and I did see the lower buds continue to fill out. I most likely lost some yield, but got some great smoke.
My missus needs a certain effect, so we tend to harvest when things go cloudy.
Are you mostly amber on top, or is it just a few trichs?

I vote with RR, your choices are pretty clearly leave it and hope it doesn't turn into Narcolepsy bud, and take it all at once, or pull the tops now and let the rest mature. What percentage of the top buds is amber? If you had to give it a percentage.

Hey guys, i would say maybe 40 - 50 per cent are a real dark amber

Yikes, so yeah, pretty amber then. If it were me, and only if it were me, I'd pull the tops. I'm not saying you should, only that if I'm ever in that position I'll pull them to prevent growing herbal Rohypnol.

Just my two cents... I have yet to pull the whole plant at once for harvest. I always selectively remove portions of the plant as they ripen.

Again, I'm no pro, just a home grower, just my two cents.
