Ok so I'm having high heat 84°f sometimes...and was thinking about instead of a humidifier..get a swamp cooler to provide humidity and cool air to cool tent down.....what do you think...

I use a swamp cooler in my shop. When I used to run a tent out there, it helped a lot with temps and keeping humidity up. 2 birds one stone. I still use it but just when I print. Tents indoors now. Anyway it helps a lot and way cheaper to run.

Do you live in a dry climate? If you do, great. If you live somewhere humid it won’t help and will make life hellish.

The one you linked is probably a POS though. They need to be bigger or they won’t do much. Look at a Hessair. Probably twice the price though.

Ok think this would be better for cooler temps if I just keep in room outside of tent???and I live in a humid climate...

Yeah if you live in a humid climate then a swamp cooler won’t help cool. if you get an AC, I would stick to a brand that you’ve heard of in case you have issues. I heard that the Midea/Toshiba are good.

Ya I will I was thinking general electric....

I’m not an AC expert. Never used a portable but I think the ones with 2 hoses are the best. Someone else might know more.
I just bought a Midea 10K/12K (for normal use).

You want a model with the adaptability of separate air hoses, plus this is (at least theoretically) more efficient, simply better engineering.
