Air pots are great for that as well GoTgReEn. Good call.

drainage is so good in them it makes it much harder to drown or fert a plant to death.

While I'm at it, I may as well get froggy and post what I grew in them.

I'm currently growing a white widow in a 3.5 gal air pot and its growing like crazy. It's in ffof and I added some mycorrazae to it after four weeks just for a little boost. That root system is super, thanks for the info.:booya:

If you bake the soil It will kill all the microrganisms and prevent the roots from colonizing and forming a healthy envirernment.

any one ever heard or used root builder II airpots? I ordered what i thought were going to be super roots airpots but got the aforementioned instead. needless to say they were all free cause i said something about it and they were the wrong size so ended up with five 5gal and five 1gal pots... i really want the super roots because the success is documented. if someone can chime in I'd appreciate it.

but you can always re-inoculate with a herd of myco easily

Exactly :D

Those look very similar except they're pointing kinda downwards and all cones are facing out with holes, instead of some facing in like the regular Airpots. I would like to see if these makes a difference from the regular ones. I have some cheapo knock off Airpots that I got sent but they are letting me keep them for free for screwing my order up. I will test them out at some point.

That first pic has sealed the deal for me i was leaning on smart pots... but i have used those in the past (3 gal) with success but i didnt wanna run into the issue of lifting them off the ground again. With the air pots i wont have to worry about that. Question for all of you do you think 2 gal over 1.5 gal is really that big of a deal.... and before the smart guy chimes in yes i know its half a gallon more soil! but im concerned about being able to fit 6 pots in my tent so im thinking of going 1.5 to save a little space. Anyways rohis your plants look great keep up the great work

ive purchased 5 of the superroots pots and 8 smart pots im going to compare the 2. although i gave the superroots pots a big challenge because im using .8 gallon pot and the smart pots will be 2 gallon. Now my question is that i use sewing string to LST my plants will i be able to use the drain holes on the superroots pots to tie the string around? How flimsy are the pots?

I had to purchase the superroots because those roots looked great in that first picture!
