Funny leaf on pic three ^_^ did you munch on it?? lol, just kidding! I like little inconsistencies like these, gives a plant character! ^_^
Nice color and growth - good work!
The munched leaf was caused by my tape measure when Shorty #2 was just a baby. The edge of the tape was razor sharp. Sliced all the fan leaves from top to bottom. Now I just get an eye ball idea of how tall the Shorties are. Yeah, the Camp is looking good. I use the K.I.S.S. method for all my grows. Good soil, ph'd water and feed. Plents of air flow and ventilation. Go easy on the nutrients. FEED, WATER. WATER. LET THE PLANTS DRY OUT!!! I grow in SuperPots so checking the weight of the plant is so easy. When they dry out you can actually feel the bottom of the pot. When I water/feed. I use 1 gallon of ph 6.5 water for a 2 gallon SmartPot. 1/3 goes in to wet the soil; wait 5-10 minutes. Then slowly pour the water until you see the water come out cleaner. That my not take a whole gallon, but pretty close. The ph is always 6.5-6.8. It's that easy. Peace and Thank You.
Sounds like quite a heavy watering you're giving them, but hey - if it works for you it works! My monster only gets 1.5 litres, but drinks it all up every day!
Stick to what works best!
Your correct on that. What works, works. My family had an Apple Orchard in The Mid-Hudson Valley, New York. Dad had a very small Green House that he raised flowers and vegatables. He kept it simple. He always let his plants dry out a bit before watering. Especially houseplants. When he watered he gave them a little drink; then give them a good watering. Said wait till you see the water come out a little clearer than the 1st runoff. Then no need to flush any salts out. Feed, Water, Water. He was a big fan of SuperThrive. We bought it by the gallons for the orchard. Nothing works better. Gotta use it as directed. I've had plants grown outside that were sick or damaged by animals. Feed them S/T and BANG!!!!!! Root drenched an Aurora Indica (8 weeks VEG)) with S/T. She got pulled out of the ground by some animal. I had know idea how long she was lying out of her pot. She was DEAD! In fact I tossed her into the orchard. Went back the next day with a bucket of 1 TBS of S/T in a gallon of water. Took her and put the entire plant's roots in the bucket and let it sit for 1/2 hour. The next week she was good as new. The photo below:
What's wrong with Shorty #1. Just checked out the Micro grow. I fed her 1/2 strength RfS on Saturday. Gave he a good drink yesterday. Today her soil is moist. The SuperBox is at 78F. Humidity is 54%. She looked a little pale; so I took her out and found this: :jaw:I changed the light to a 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum cfl two days ago. The cabinet is 78F with 50% Humidity. Am I getting worried or is this normal? Tomorrow will be week 6 VEG.
Nirvana Short Rider SuperBox update: DAY 46 from seed; DAY 4 FLOWER. Shorty #2 1st pic; Shorty #1 (took off the dead yellow leaves) 2nd pic. ***Notice the rust spotted fan leaves on Shorty #1 at 3 and 6 o'clock and dead center. I took off about 6 really dead ones last night. Weekly foliar fed them this AM 1/4 Strength RfS (upped the Magical a bit) and 1ml Floralicious.
P.S. Gonna let it #1 ride it out. She had a good wack on the head when she was a litte girl. She's never gonna be as big as her big sister. She's getting her Flower nutrients on Saturday. I flushed her good today. The ph water was 5.5 and still came out at 6.8. After four hours I don't see her stressed. She's not gonna give me the yield that #2 is gonna give me. This is all an experiment. See what works; see what dosen't. Shorty#2 is one pretty girl. :grat:
