My dad sent me some pics of his currently seeded Super Purp
Also I got that 2000 Watt King LED in the mail, and swapped out my 300 Watt LED that was in there. I'm keeping the 400 Watt HPS in that tent though for the extra yield. It's definitely warmer with the 2k over the 300.

Update on this project. So I messed up with the autos and didn't have enough aeration in the recycled soil I was using, that with getting the cold temps in the grow room seriously stunted/hurt them. I got my temps figured out, and I poked some holes in the bottom of the pots and I'm trying to nurse them back to health and possibly salvage a female that's been stress tested to breed with a nice male I'm running. But I definitely don't want any males from these unhappy plants.
So for now the Auto part of this project is going to be delayed. However I know my mistake and plan on starting some more autos once I have some space clear up or I figure a way to make it work. For the Super Purp Auto, I'm planning on doing multiple crosses with various auto strains both male Super Purp to Auto strains, and male Auto strains to female Super Purps then working the best from there, back crossing etc. I have picked my keeper Super Purp from this sift. She was picked based on being easier to clone, and her female sexuality being more evident. This keeper is pheno [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]
Her sister will not be kept going based on being harder to clone, and her calyxes being harder to tell sex in pre-flower many an impatient or inexperienced grower might have thought she was a male and tossed her, which isn't a desirable trait. I actually thought she was a male and planned on using her due to her terp profile haha. However she is 100% female. I have 1 clone of her that will be bred to a very terpy C99 X Querkle male. I have another clone of her barely straggling by that may or may not make it. If she ends up being something crazy I plan on backcrossing her crosses back into the Super Purp line.

So I went down and visited my dad around Thanksgiving time. He gave me some Super Purp to smoke on and smoked me out with some while I was there. It's not the prettiest, and not very terpy, possibly due to my dad curing too fast. But to be fair the Super Purps in my grow room aren't as loud as my crosses. Growing it and watching it struggle in my cold shed, while my own crosses thrived, and not having any to smoke was discouraging. But it was bred to be an extremely stable hot weather Purple strain.
However after smoking some I was reminded the potency is amazing, and even though it's not super loud it's super stoney and euphoric a perfect blend of Indo and Sativa but way more Indica. Reminds me of smoking in high school, and I have a high tolerance smoke lots every day etc. I live in Southern Oregon and have spent all but 3 months of my life in Oregon and Northern California. I've always had access to dank. This stuff is definitely different than your typical, cookie, chem, gdp, og, or glue cross, but definitely comparable if not greater in potency than various cuts in those categories.
After smoking Super Purp, I was motivated to preserve the strain and make multiple crosses with it. I have permission from my dad to breed it as much as I want, and he even thought putting it into auto form was a good idea when I told him about the idea. I also found out more about the history of the strain, and found out the seeds I have of it are 6ish years old. He also said he put 10+ years into the strain. The breeding he just did where the seeds are finishing up now, are the first breeding he's done in 6ish years. He did so to try and make them a little more cold resilient.
The Super Purp is a smaller strain and was bred that way by my dad. He likes smaller faster potent strains. All the more reason I think it would be a perfect Auto. However I want to breed it with some monster autos and see what I can make happen. I have a lot of ideas for Auto crosses but want to wait until I have the seeds in hand before I tell everyone my ideas.
I will be breeding both phenos to a C99 x Querkle male. Then running the rest of my Super IBL later on when it warms up a bit. Then hopefully crossing a Super Purp male to his sister, a bx if I find something interesting, and some auto strains.
Although I have permission to breed with the Super Purp, and even release fem versions of it. The Super Purp regular seeds are something only my dad and I have, and he made me agree to not give out clones of it or anything, so I wouldn't be able to release regular IBL Super Purp seeds. But I am planning on doing a fem cross soon to my Iranian Cinex x C99 cut that's been super stress tested, and smells like Lemon Lime candy. Here's a picture of her. Sorry for the Red Leds.

I made that same mistake before, always remembered from that one mistake. I drill plenty of extra extra extra holes in every pot I use. It helps the soil dry alot better too. Hopefully you get situation handled maybe take the plant autoflower out the pot. without it falling apart carefully. Could be a potential disaster, but you need to get some proper holes through the pot.

Yeah I drilled a few more holes in the bottom of the pot. Then I added some homemade prison wine for the bubbles to a weaker tea/ferment and they've bounced back a bit. But I'm not stressing it, I have a few more auto seeds. I ordered some half gallon grow bags and have some store bought organic soil with plenty of perilite in it. I want to experiment with that style after seeing Fullduplex's crazy results with it. I might start some Autos in the next week depending on what my days look like.

I was completely wrong about this strain not being very terpy. She really shows in flower. She has a fruity loops smell with some lemon and peach. With a very faint skunk undertone that really blends well with the fruity flavors.
