3 months since i popped my seeds.Feel free to ask questions about other strains but now i want to talk to you about Super Cali haze

I was beating the dead horse with strain before i even grew it.now that some time has passed i can share my experiences. I started with a 5 pack and two freebies from the attitude seedbank. All seeds germinated quick with no problem.
i had 5 pheno types. One of them started as a male then switched to hermi then lost the balls and is finished now in about about 130 days.( i have about 100 S1 seeds from it)
The others still have weeks to go. The one i just mentioned and 4 others were planted in the ground and all yield close to 1 pound eachI know talk is cheap and i will try and get some pictures the next time i can visit but its not my garden and it is really scary there.
Every one is a different pheno type except the "low ryder" Pheno wich is exactly what it sounds like except they are npow 130+ days old and not finished lol.
Overall there are some keepers in there but the genetics are far from stable and thats an understatement.
Maybe at a few more weeks i can give an extremely positive smoke report.

I'm a little surprised at the pheno variations. I've grown SCH a couple of times and only had 2 phenos, one that got about 3' tall and the rest around 6'. Is that dry weight on the yields? If so, that's outstanding for that strain.

how many seeds have you popped? growing it a couple times could theoretically have been two seeds. semantics ...
Yes this is dry weight. although i did not see the dry weight i did see the plant (only one finished) right before harvest about 1 pound is what the person told me and he pulls in 4-5 pound photosensitive plants like he is still in el Salvador so i believe the weight estimate.
Again i am really gona try and get pictures for you. im sure he wont care. i just have to get a camera(i have no smart phone) and i dont go there to often.
I am assuming your time from seed to finish was at least 130 days?
im sure all these plants could be over 6 feet tall but they need to kept below a fence so they were all HST or LST.

You got us some very interesting info, grod.
I'm also growing the SCH, two actually. Seems like I have two phenos(based on leaves and height) from two seeds, One is over 7ft and the other around 4ft.

Please show us some pictures, I'm dying to see how a 1pound SCH looks like:dance2:

Just had a thought - could the "phenos" be related to transplant stress? I think mine got stressed, because the leaves changed shape during the growth.

I've grown about a dozen of them. From those I got 2 of the short pheno, the rest were the big ones. I would be very surprised if your friend actually got that much from them. Even Stitch, the breeder of this strain, hasn't gotten that much. If memory serves me, I think about 8-9 ounces was the most. Mine averaged about 5 oz. per plant and others that I know have grown this strain got about the same or a bit less.

I'm glad you had limited phenos, i didnt.
I came here to share information- not spread misinformation.- its much more then 5-8 0z a plant.
I will gladly take pics when i can. the plants are about the size of a kitchen table that can seat 6 people. they are kept well below a 6 foot fence.

How many days was your average seed to harvest?

I grew them 3 years ago and don't remember exactly how long they took. I think it was around 120 days, give or take.

so there seems to be a difference between the seeds from a few years ago and the ones i have.Only 1 was done at around 130 (18 weeks) and was only picked because mold was appearing. the rest still have time to go.
The funny thing is the two "low ryder" phenos I only call them that because the way they smell are not finished.
maybe a more sativa pheno was brought into the line at some point?

I'm smoking this strain right now as I type this, I grew two. One, which like you described, started to hermie (just 2 balls) and then stopped.

I only managed to pull 50g per plant here, the buds were light and airy when once cured.. not much crystal production either.

ALTHOUGH...the smoke is pretty cool.. quite mellow... great for movies and documentaries!
