Super Airy Buds

When I bottle fed, I waS feeding every water. Videos I've seen on auto and dry amendments said to feed about every other week. Maybe I wasn't feeding them enough?

I don't think that's shrinkage from drying. Either you need liquids like a banana ffj or your soil isn't biologically active with enough bacteria. So it can't break down nutrients and absorb.

Thats pretty solid yields. Thats about what I average too. I've only been growing indoor for about a year and a half. Outdoor for years but we all know there different ballgames. Goodluck in figuring it out. Airy buds have their uses too. Sometimes its real good smoke but I hear they press better if your into that type of thing...more surface area.

Just invested in a press lol. I'll still smoke it but compared to a few other autos and photos I've run with bottles, I didnt know if I was feeding too light with the dry amends.

I’ve always found bud density is mostly strain dependent, or just not enough light……..

If your environment is in good state, it could be just the strain. Or.. too much nitrogen in flower.

I'm thinking it's too much nitro. I've read countless articles on it and it fits well. I've had no serious lockouts with bottles. But am still trying to figure out these dry amendments and feedings

IMPE anything above 80°F in late flower lends itself to more airy buds. I did not even bother to grow this summer because of the high heat I have to deal with here. I would not expect those genetics to be airy. I add UVA last 4-5 weeks and UVB the last 2 weeksof flower and finish with AN Bud Candy only once two weeks prior to harvest and Molasses once the last week prior to harvest.

My experience is pretty similar. I think its a good idea in the last few weeks to lower it even with leds. Seems to work for me anyways.
