New Grower Sunny South Africa 2: 4 Strains w/macro photos

Hi Islandgrower! Glad you like the macros.
I'm using a Panasonic FZ50 with a Raynox 250 macro lens. A diffused flash helps with some of the indoor photography.
The Raynox makes macro photography easy! Just wait until we start getting some trichomes on this grow, that's my favourite part to macro-photograph.

Some folks might get uppity about calling micros macros or whatever but nice job on the pics all the same. The technique and approach are much the same whatever you shoot with.....and if you ask me big sensors suck for shooting macro anyway:deadhorse:

look forward to the trichome pics and have some rep points for your excellent efforts so far:slap:

AH I haven't been involved in the photography forums for going on a decade now... but last I did everyone down here referred to it as Macro! Oh well... I still love my "wannabe" SLR and it's huge sensor (helps DOF evidently) ;) I take it with me every holiday and take pics of weird and wonderful things that most people don't bother to notice! Thanks for the rep!!!!!

Not much in terms of pics for this update - just that my plants are all LST'd now (from a couple weeks ago before they entered their flowering stage).
Group photos i'll do tomorrow if the weather is nice.
Otherwise - here's a couple fun shots taken today of the Grape Muerto - I've got a ninja protecting her (bad quality pic - only had the one chance to take this shot before scaring off this little guy).
Plus some up-close trichome shots!
