I am going to kill it shortly, before it pollinates anything!



It is not anything I have seen before and hope to never see again. Lucky I kept a spare male for pollen.

Another update before things change in/with the cabinet

The SBR-70 females are getting very frosty now, did a bit of pollen chucking earlier and plan on doing a little bit more later

Some pollen from the above male, first with camera and the rest with USB scope, the last 2 show a hair from a tiny paintbrush with pollen on it


The weird male was killed just after I posted about it, didn't want weird plant pollen

Greetings herbal my friend, it is 51 days old today (I think) but I had it in a sort of suspended animation in my laundry cupboard. Total darkness and just a splash of tap water once a week seems to make them stagnate, but the longer they stay in there the more yellow they become....from the top down and sometimes they can yellow fast

This male is loaded with pollen and is spewing it everywhere, it has been back in the cabinet since the 5th May (see post 206 on page 21) and balls started busting on the 16th May.
Sorry to hear yours is not similar to mine Herbal, but remember a little pollen can go a very long way............I need to come look your thread again....

Things are changing rapidly and to make my life easier I have terminated two of the SBR-70 females, sad I know but I cant do cabinet work with those stinky bitches in there and they cant stay out....
Normally I would not try to describe how they smell as my sense of smell aint real good but these really are special so I will give it my best
All three smell very similar to each other, it is a sort of sweet smell, there is a strong fruity peachy kinda thing in there too. It is unlike any other weed stink I have had!

BTW, if you have a chance to grow SBR-70 you should!
Rip out your current grow and replace with SBR-70's, it will punch your whole face in...:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
I will be giving them another go for sure but wont tie them in knots



The female that is left alive had the biggest bids hacked off and then was fully pollinated, well I hope it works lol.

I think it is time to leave this thread and go live in my "Micro Grow" one, I cannot keep up with more than one at a time....the last female SBR-70 will be updated in the micro thread.

been reading more about pollen collecting and the difference betweem ACTUAL makes vs REVERSE males:
- tighter banans (harder for pollen to release)
- less pollen
- time varies due to the reversal attempt

i was able to collect about a brush strokes worth -- just hope its viable.

and oh my oh my bro. i just came up with the craziest idea that you should do with your grows! :firedevil:

im sure youve seen those braided joints (i know ive been looking at them recenly thanks to MAINE!) -- but how about braiding your plant into a budsicle?!
