Can someone please tell me how I can bring the humidity up while keeping temps down. In a 2×4×6 tent, Im using a second hand humidifier from thrift store which emits well you know. But the fan brings that right back down. It hovers arounnd 30ish. The temp wants to stay around 80°. Am I missing a piece of equipment ? Im growing in soil and am just about at suggested time for harvest. This is my first auto grow and my plants seem to be half the size that Im seeing in other posts. Im using FF nutes and basically been keeping things as close to params as I can. Are people photo shopping their pics? I'll post some pics. And yes Im aware of my nute burn( that was just a total stoner fuckup on my part. Any help is appreciated. Oh yeah, Im using whats supposed to be a decent light with samsung leds 240watt .

Warmer air should hold more moisture. 80F and 30%RH? Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? Not a lot to go on but maybe turn down the exhaust fan speed a bit? Do you have a temp and humidity sensor?

Temps in 80 are ok i would say. Where is your humidity? You might need to dial back your fans or extraction fans a little too keep the moisture in the tent. Did you place the humidifier inside?

Im using a

Maaadro 240W Samsung lm301h 288 v3 meijiu board led horticulture grow light from alibaba. I had to look it up. Is this enough for 2×4×6 tent ?

I will try dialing back the extaction fan. Thanks

Bowl of water and a towel. Dip the towel and hang with the bottom in the water. Direct a fan on. You'll have to replace the water, but it works.

How big is the room you are growing in? What I found helped me more than any other method while still allowing adequate air exchange was putting a whole room humidifier.

I use a 6 gallon AIRCARE evaporative humidifier for a 16x10 room with a 4x4 and 5x5 tent. It keeps the humidity around 55-60%. Both tents have a passive intake to where I can flower and veg without wasting time or money with multiple appliances.

Much less time and effort is spent trying to control the environment this way. Plus I have space in the tents for more important things.

VPD chart

TLDR: Humidify the whole room according to your temps rather than fighting with your fan
