Mephisto Genetics Strawbba the Hut germination issues

Just when I gave up, I got an email today saying I have a free pack of Strawbba the Hut seeds coming! Kind of weird cause I was expecting some kind of email from customer service and even checking junk mail daily just in case. Then low and behold order #********* on the way, just like a typical order confirmation. Yeah!

Thank you for your patience. Customer service is probably the hardest part of our job. So being nice and understanding to our staff (and any customer rep for that matter) will go a long way. We deal with some many people looking for handouts, or trying to scam us / pull one over on us that its hard to sort out the people who actually have had an issue. We do photo confirmation of every order and still have people saying my order missing this pack or that, when the photo clearly shows we didn't miss anything.

Now this doesn't mean that we are going to replace seeds for germ claims going forward unless we do find inconsistencies on our own testing. We have been really meticulous about doing these germ tests and documenting them so we feel like our Quality Control is some of the best in the business.

Not sure what happened with that batch of seeds. Initially the germ rate tested just fine, then after some complaints we went back and retested and did see that it was bellow our standards.

The current batch of Strawba is different from the one that had issues, so don't be afraid to pick this one up again. We have some some beautiful plants with massive colas from this Illuminauto.

You guys rock. The new Strawbba beans look alot better than the first batch. I am popping one tonight..

I know the timing was perfect. My current grow is going horrible. Time to restart fresh with some fresh Meph beans. Hopefully I can get these to grow...
 
How do you qualify for a replacement pack? I bought a pack and got 3 duds out of 4 seeds germinated.

Send them very nice sincere email. And put your order # in the email and hope for the best..

I got my seeds, and put one in my paper towel unit. I had a nice long tail in 36 hours! She is planted!
Not only did Mephisto make it right by sending me a new pack of seeds, they sent plant labels, stickers, and even freebies! That is the best customer service I have ever gotten for anything in my entire life, and deserved mentioning.
I do have a question though. I would like to make sure the customer service folks know how grateful I am. Is it cool to send them a friendly note, or is it just one more email those folks have to sort through! Or is it easier for you to pass this post on to them?
