I hate to say this, but I think you just traded one set of problems for another. MG soils are not well suited for growing weed, especially if they have time release nutrients in them, which most of the MG soils do. You can easily raise the pH of your existing soil with the addition of some dolomite lime to the mix or adding hydrated lime to your feeding solution.

oh damn! i just thought coming up from 4.0 would be hard and take too long, i think it killed one of my plants anyways, we will see =/

good luck

I am also growing in.a small closet very similar size to yours I just leave my closet curtain door open for at least an hour every day and that will be sufficient air for your ladies. Good luck and happy.grow!

thanks man! and yeah thats what i actually would do with my old set up, but on this new box i actually have an intake on the bottom and an exhaust out of the top. i have not purchased the carbon filter and exhaust fan yet but im all set up for when i do. And as of now i leave the door open every now and then every day because i check on them every now and then.

update... T
The really sick looking plant looks even sicker, its two biggest leaves are almost all curled up and dry, its second pair of leaves still look ealthy, i guess we will see :crying:
The smaller looking plant is just starting to curl up a tiny bit, but hopefully can pull out of that in this new soil.

The biggest plant is still looking good now and is growing quite a few sets of leaves now.

The baby duurty is looking really good, it has 2 bigger leaves now and a set up smaller ones coming in!

Hey man post some new pics, I'm anxious to see those plants!

Hey Straight808,

It looks to me that you could use a reflector on your light as the plant that you had to support looks like it's strecthing real bad. I made a reflector from a disposable aluminm turkey pan, works great. Helps keep the light down where the plant is and in my situation helps keep the area close to the plant warm. That's my 2 cents. Happy growing.

okay first of all its been a while since i've done an update, a few things have happened but not that much really. ill just get to the pictures i guess and explain each one!

One of my first 3 original magic dragons that all were hurt by some soil with horrible PH. after the transplant this plant looked to have stopped growing, but in the last week has really started getting leafy and growing more and more every day! im hoping its a girl!!! (21 days above soil)

hey man thanks! if i decide to stay with these lights for much longer i most likely will be building some type of hood! thanks man

Your plants look good. I'd also recommend a hood as you're losing a lot of valuable light. I use some CFLs in my veg area and they are mounted horizontally. I made some reflectors for them out of some flashing and covered the lower side with pieces of mylar. Works great.
