I know autoflowering plants are quite resilant and worrie that while breeding some plants I may cross pollinate others ...can anyone offer tips on breeding methods that can help me stay clear of bastard breedings..

I've just finished a round of pollination with autos and standard photoperiod plants.

When I could I removed the female from the room and dusted using a paintbrush the chosen bud which I then marked.

For plants in the flowering room I couldn't remove I turned of all the fans and did the same thing.

I then went over the plant with a hoover gently( very gently ) to remove any excess.

Pollen WILL have escaped, almost unavoidable and I can see odd seeds on buds I hadn't pollinated forming. However the heavily pollinated buds will be mainly my selection choice and any seeds outside of my choice buds will be ignored(or grown as a lucky dip)

Watching seeds form is like seeing gold growing on trees- hundreds of possibility's and all for free!

If i want to grow a male out, can i put him in a seperate part of the house under a t5 strip until i get the desired amount of pollen? i have a 4x4 and a 2x2, but they are right next to each other and i really dont want any girlies gettin knocked up until I say ya dig? Do i need a special (hepa?) filter? i have a carbon filter avail, and also an OdorSok, will that keep my ladies virginal?

Keep your fans off until you get a chance to mist things down. If only pollenating a single branch or a single female - move it so it's no directly in the fan's air flow.
Between grows, clean & wipe down the whole room.
I used to keep a cabinet where I would put whatever females I was going to brush with pollen.
Pollen application is important too.
You could just collect then sprinkle your ladies but some pollen will blow away.
Better to apply with a paintbrush or q-tip/cotton swab

what do you clean your paintbrushes with after you pollenate,so you don't cross pollenate?

i usually just wash out with hot water and then allow to dry... i keep 4 brushes that i rotate through so i can do 4 different pollys in a session if need be

thanks JM,i also have 4 brushes that i use.thats because i only have four diff. kinds of pollen rite now.i was going to just buy a brush for each kind of pollen i collected, but if that works then i'll do that.thanks bro!

np mate... has worked just fine for me so far... i am very careful about isolating my pollination area and making sure ALL fans in the house are off as well as making sure there are no drafts... pollen is very light and can float on the slightest draft for miles...

so i lock down in my bathroom, pollinate... and then spray a fine mist of water on my plants as well as the ENTIRE bathroom high in the air so as to collect all air-borne pollen and make it hit the ground.... then i open the door and remove the plants (misted) and let them dry in the air for about an hour...

hope this helps
