Not sure what you are on about, but I have to say that I have not suffered here from clique activity. Yes, there tends to be separation into differing interests, which is entirely understandable, and in my opinion, not a bad thing as it helps to organize the site, and focus expertise in different aspects or methods of growing.

On the whole, I have not seen a more friendly and supportive forum, and I have participated in quite a diverse bunch. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here that offer tons of free advice to growers of all experience levels, do so for free, and furthermore do so without making new growers or ones trying new approaches feel stupid. If you find a forum that accomplishes this environment better than AFN, please let us know so we can learn from it. If you have specific suggestions on how to make this forum better, let us know. The people who run this thing try hard to make it better, and they listen.

The only time I have seen interactions here that were unfriendly has been in response to individuals, usually new ones as far as I could tell, who arrive here with arrogant, combative attitude inconsistent with the atmosphere encouraged here. On occasion posts with attitude have been challenged while I have been here, as they should be in my opinion. One one occasion, the challenged individual actually admitted that he/she was out of line, and came back with the sort of cooperative and considerate communication encouraged here. Sadly, not always the response...

Just over a year ago I came to afn starting a journal hoping to get knowledge. It didn't take long and people not only helped theres some that's been helping me 54 weeks straight now. It's been pretty amazing. Not only am I doing 10 times better than I did before getting help over the last year on here I'm doing better with autos than I ever expected.

Example back right is my first harvest last year. The plant went 28.3 grams dry. Shes in the back right

After reading journals, asking around, using the site for learning, and switching up many things here is a photo of one I chopped about 2 months ago..10 months difference. Same strain. I've grown this strain 8 times now in a year

She went over 3 ounces. I'll always be thankful this site. Without this site I would probably be growing photoperiod.

So For the folks with past journals over these 10 years that helps us new folks. Whether your on here or not still. I've donated twice. And the 2nd donation are for those folks. Some of us need certain qualities effects from strains. These completed journals can be a golden for folks. I had to quit smoking marijuana for 18 months because I just couldn't find strains on the black market steadily to even make smoking worth it. With help on here by recommendations and or just reading the reviews I've now found and grown strains that not only allow me to be a stoner again but actually give me relief. Thanks to all.

So if I may be the devils advocate for a second.

Every site has its cliques,....ok..lets move on.

My advice to all, and I say this from experience.
ALL are entitled to an opinion, and if you don't want to get flamed for your opinion. Send a personnal message to the site admin.
There is obviously room for improvement on every site.
If we keep bickering and finger pointing, that isn't constructive.
I don't think there was an error in judgement from the fellow that posted an opinion. It was just put into the wrong thread.

So, let's make one thing clear, we all get along and play fair cause we share the same passion.
And as passionate people, we tend to fight for what we believe.
Thats what makes this site so good, not only do we learn from our mistakes,...we actually get advice from those that F**ked up before us.

Let's use that experience and keep the thead up beat instead of being a pissing match.

BTW, bro you're doobie is awesome....I think I feel a seed in it....guess whats going through my mind!

Almost half way there .

I was looking around for professionals that specialize in Xenforo to optimize our site and it would seem the average price to do that is ~ $500.00. I don't think Hobbes included that in the original goal on GoFundMe so let's just go whizzing by that 2K number and give Hobbes the tools he needs to make our site "Lightning Fast" because I really hate the "Oops" pop-up .

Same here. I always thought it was due to the DDOS protection. I could easily be wrong though.
