As we go into this next payment for the site in 2 days, AFN will officially be not only 100% supported by it's members, as it's always been by community and staff, but also now financially. It's a pretty cool feeling, and I hope that we can continue to keep this site where the community wants it to be. Really happy and proud to call this place home and equally happy and proud to call you all friend.
We've started sending over errors and screenshots of errors to prospective devs/admins to help us with the optimization and fixing some of the glaring, overdue site issues. There's a few major ones we want to knock out (the Oop's error issue, the Cloudflare issue (which by proxy then will immediately fix the Tapatalk issue, which is the only reason Tapatalk isn't working properly.)
We'll also work on bringing back the IM chat as requested.
A member of the team that actually developed our visual styles reached out to us about the forum help, so I'm going let
@wwwillie and
@Mañ'O'Green pick her brain among the other potentials to see if we can't get something started soon (we're ready to hire.) So we will keep everyone here in the loop on what's going on, because ultimately that will be a huge win to get the site optimized (for everyone!)
