New Grower Starting my first grow EVER next week!!

Grow Setup!! Finally got everything ready for my first Meph grow EVER so yeah im definitely a noob lol taking ALL tips and tricks and just general knowledge before I start. Thank you to everyone!!! If you see something I could do better let me know!!

Im growing in a 3x3x6 cool grow tent, mars hydro 1000w light, vivosun carbon filter, 5 gallon fabric pots. probably only gonna grow 3 because the size seems a little tight but if anyone has comfortably fit 4 that came to a decent size i would love to know!!

We all were newbies at some point and i had all kind of questions too at first. Just finishing my second crop and the first one was a success with even a half pound plant!Peoples here are really helpful and full of knowledge.

Nice setup...just be aware you're on the verge of a major addiction.
I've a very similar setup...2x3 tent, mh1000, etc.....but I grow in 3 ltr pots so I can grow several strains at one time. Right now I have 7 in the tent.
I actually veg in a diff area, then move flowering girls to the tent where I harvest 2-3 monthly. Been perpetual for over 14 years.
Yep, tent is always full of bushes that we gladly burn for entertainment.

Good luck on your first grow. I also have a 3 x 3 tent and use 3 gallon fabric pots. I have one suggestion for you. I picked up a washing machine drain pan that fit in the tent nicely for around 20 bucks at Lowe's in Canada. Good for keeping the floor dry and easy to clean up.

Goodluck on your 1st grow it is a wonderful hobby and I get as much enjoyment out of growing them as I do smokin em!

I run 4 plants in a 2x4 so it can be done. I prefer to stagger the plants so I don't have 4 in full flower at the same time. I did 4 at the same time my first grow. Now I just space them out by 2 weeks or so otherwise theres a lot of juggling to do everyday plus trimming 4 plants by yourself is a long process so breaking it up makes it easier.


The hardest thing you have to learn is PATIENCE!!!! Its very common to want to Over love your young seedlings but sometimes you just need to leave em be for a few days.

Might put some grommets in your pots. You'll be doing some serious LST to keep 'em contained.
