STARTING EC plus calmag

Hi peoples,
cooler day today up in my loft , nice.
Anyway , question.
should I be adding cal mag if my starting water is 0.5ec / in coco. 3 weeks 4 days in , first grow.

Depends on the nutes you are using, some doesn't need extra Calmag added, however... Not all plants agrees with that
I would probably add 1ml per 10L water just to be a little on the safe side without risk of overdosing

Hello its hard to say as tap water contains lots of shit in it so you will have to watch your plants they will tell you if they need it as coco likes a good bit of cal at the start when i was using canna i put it in from day 1 but then i change to filterted water to take the guesing out of it

Coco lite by ecothrive. Uk . 70/30 perlite plus 1% charge pre mixed.

Yes 10ml to 10L is what I add if in doubt, maybe a couple of days with 20ml first if you suspect it is depleted. In my first grow I always added calmag to my tap water to reach aprrox 0.4 - 0.45 EC, tap water being 0.25 - 0.3 to start with, your base EC of 0.5 is quite high but doesn't necessarily means it doesn't need CalMag.

you should be fine with that but watch you plants as they will tell you. I stop giving cal once they switch to flower with the canna nutes but thats just the way i do it every grow will be diffrent tho
